It is sad to see people of one Nation standing against each other all the time. Both the 2005 and 2010 election result taught us how people are getting bored of empty promises. I feel none of the parties are getting the point. It is not about information because each side is trying hard to mirror the life of Ethiopians.

Everyone in Ethiopia now understands what is happening. The good and the bad. The rest is just noise. The people spoke in the election " No Noise! Leave us alone!". That exactly is the poll result.

Freedom and democracy are not what someone gives to somebody. The moment anyone tells me that I am not free, he is declaring his own superiority or his forthcoming will of imposing his way of life or whatsoever.

To make a long story short, it does not take much to open something like ESAT in a geo-politically important nation surrounded by historical enemies and resource rivals. And no need of fund raising while you have historical enemies willing to lift you up and watch you destroy your own people. They have been using same trick for centuries. How dumb are we to be fooled now and then? As a matter of fact the money collected from the desperate selfless diaspora could not even run a radio-station, leave alone a TV broadcast.
A TV station, nothing more that a combination of old ETV and the current ETV programs ( even same show title) would be just an echo. I look forward to a private, probably a government station of entertainment like the FM stations that will sink down both the boring ETV as well as the traditional "I know better" ESAT pretty soon.

I am bored. I got to go and get cold beer!!
Viva Ethiopia!!!

I am beyond words, but then again word is cheap.

I will donate to ESAT $500.00 this weekend for its fundraising event. That will be just for 2010, and plan to do the same year after year until Woyane is no more.

Would you like to join me ?

Long Live ethiopia!

War is not the option right now. That's what the TPLF wants so they can wipe us out . They got the amunitions , the full stomach and the so called back up from the west . We Ethiopians have to start thinking , acting and almost becoming like weyanes/TPLF first ,to achieve our goal of liberty and justice in Ethiopia. We have to become like CHASE players and be able to anticipate their next move. This idea sounds bold but we have to start using our brains and calculate every move we make as well as every move TPLF makes by geting any information on these bunch of thugs motives , desires and goals . Basically we have to get close to them and win their thrust so they can lay down their guard .By not geting caught up to the materialistic gains we can do so much damage by back stabing them like that. A true selfless Ethiopian can do damage right their in the cities. Even women and elderly can play a big role. We can sneak up on them one by one by acting in small groups or even acting individually. Because as we know TPLF has the tendency to infiltrate and dismantle a movement of large number of people. We have to start listening and acting individually by never forgeting our goal and determination by not expecting others to die for us while we sit back and watch or not expect others to communicate to us what we need to do, We have to start asking ourselves who am I? and what can I do in the position I am ?

I bet Meles will shut down satellite televisions all together with the aim of removing ESAT. He will simply tell people to get their reciever of the roofs, impose 1000% tax on the reciever or come up with a new anti-satellite televisons law. U think he won't do it. wait and see
