Although Sheik Alamoudi has chosen to be partial in the political arena and tried to use his economic clout to impress upon the public to support EPRDF, calling him a thief and a womanizer is a bit extreme. It reflects negatively upon the writer. Please object his actions. Name calling brings down the issue to a classless drughouse type dialog.

ESFANA has to to return the money to the "shiek" preferably donate it to some NGO in Ethiopia- much the same way the former mayor of NY returned the millons of dollars to the Saudi Prince in opposing his offensive remarks about the US.
Moreover, they need to ban the shiek's active agent from having key roles in the comittee.

I agree with most of your comments surrounding ESFNA. ESFNA has been and is a collection of unqualified and distrusted people. There are so many evidences to proof this statement, but I will not get into that in this note. I will come back with another commentary with respect to the background and interest of the so called board members of ESFNA. To come back to the current situation, I will only considere the admission of the mistake as genuine only if: (1) they donate the $300,000 they received from the Shiek to a credible Ethiopian walfare association; and (2) they replace all those accountable to the mistake with compitent and credible Ethiopian with an open election. Short of these corrective measures, I will not consider Dawit and Fassil as genuine.

Yes it is indeed a victory for patriotic Ethiopians in the Diaspora, and a defeat for the ill conceived elements that keep working against the interest of the country. I'd agree that these two individuals that are now positively viewing their opinion come up in the open and tell the rest of Ethiopians back here at home "apologies". That makes a lot of difference.

ESFNA is full of hodams and pro Woyane elements. So it is hard to fathom that ER seems to buy their temporary pledge as a fact.

Funds raised from tournaments should be donated to charitable and humanitarian as well as Ethiopian community organizations, that are run professionally.

ESFNA should be in the forefront in fighting Woyane if it is truly an Ethiopian organizations.

It bylaws were corrupted to suit the hodams, claiming that they have no right to different right from wrongs as far as Woyanes, who are still funding it indirectly through EAL and other sources.

Don't fall to the trap of TPLF's mafia leadership. They deliberately antagonize the Billioner Business Man with the opposition and Ethiopian people. We have to be proud of him, as Ethiopian and as person who overcame all odds to be the richest black man. Let us learn from his enterpranuership, and his wisdom of how he used the 'windows' of TPLF's 'investment hunger' to creat jobs in Ethiopia and helping the poor, even if they are few, lets not forget he is a private investor( business man). Lets respect this gentleman and his Ethiopianess. If his mistakes are just working with the government - I don't think that is strong argument. Being together does not necessarily mean being one. His association with politicians is a normal prerequisites to investment. I don't know Shiek Mohammed Ala Mudin, but I appereciate his achievements as a humanbieng and I can imagine that he has love for his country and wants to benifit from her and benifit her also. TPLF is happy that - the dillusioned people in Ethiopia attack the Shiek, that is blessing for Meles and his groups, they controll him by scaring and sending letters of 'defamations' by their secret agents on the enternet to diecredit both the Ethiopian people and the oppostion so as to woo this wonderful gentleman of great caliber and achievement. I wish somebody would calm the Sheik to understand the true nature of TPLF's survilliance machinery and all this negative talks about the respectable Ethiopian is just manuplation of the political elit in power and has nothing to do with Ethiopian people and the oppositions. Alamudin You are blessed and we want our Ethiopia could give birth to Millions like you are. Here you wrote that the ESFANA leaders have promised to jornaliats and web sites like ethiopian review that they will open the finnancial statement of the organiztion for the public and they also said that they have lifted the poster of the womenizer and drnker "sheik" in thier web site. However, the reality is the reverse. go and check the web site of ESFNA. why they didn't remove thier appreciation about the hated sheik? why they removed the sheik picture in the stadium? The following actions must be taken ASAP

1- Ayaaya, Sebsbe, Samuel have to rsign from their post if they indeed took the money without consulting the rest.

2- The ESFNA officials have to post their admitted mistake on their web, have to publish flyer and circulate, they have to transmit their part of the story on VOA and via other public radios.

3- The Sheik's money, all of it, has to be donated to our starving people ASAP.

Ethiopians, you are the best and will do better in the future. The steps taken by ESFNA's the few committee members is essential but not good enough yet.

There has been a lack professional collaborative of doing things in the ESFNA, and as a restult, the few Al Amoud's agents and followers made a blunder in accepting the bloodmoney form the corrupt,scandalous,crook, stupid,and the looter that mafaia Dr.Sheikh.

When that mafia Sheikh has been a known anti-Ethiopia woyanaetplf agent and a looter, accepting money is like is not only untehical and immoral, it is being partners with a mafia sheikh and being against Ethiopians.

A. A complete and through investigation must be conducting on how the whole scandal started and caused chaois on nearly everything.

B. The backgrounf of those chief official members of the ESFNA must be reviewed and investigated.

C. A new accountable, responsible and professional commitee must be chosen and selected from among the best and assume the role of public severvice with greater integrity.

D. A letter of appology must be sent by the members who made this ourtages scandal at the back of Ethiopians to the entire global Ethiopian communities.

E.
