Do not trust what is coming out from Woyane affiliated media and reporters. One of their task is spreading disinformation all over the world. This helps them to buy time and to move to the worst.

We have bitter experience on woyanes propaganda machination regarding Eritrea, Somalia and now the Sudan.
Woyanes behaviour is in fact a changing of opinion day by day like a chameleon.
Even if we take it as granted, they might perform a symbolic fight and finally will betray Ethiopia as they did in "Algers Agreement".
All opposition forces must intensify their struggle to dismantle Woyane tactic. Their mission is to distabilize Ethiopia.
Action is needed to save Ethiopia not too much talking.

I am not sure if this 'border attack' is a good PR for the weyanne regime but the fatc is that the regime is in a very desperate situation. So everything is possible. The regime could be lying to divert attention away from its treasonous (high treason) behaviour.

can you tell me why Meles wants to give land to Sudan? If he gave land to eritrea, we would have good explanation, at least to some of us, becuase he is ehnically Eritrean. Meles is a dictator and greedy. But unless he sold the land for Millions, he would be losing tax generating farms to Sudan.
I need logical answers. Answers such as " he wants to destroy ethiopia" are an insult to any thinking ethiopia. Give more meat.

Yes badme was a drama too. The ethiopian govt has denied that it is involved. Why do they pretend they are at war when they are not. They have never done that and if they are they kick ass. To be honest I am also surprised by the news. It appears that it is baked to hoodwink the people of Ethiopia. Meles will not fight. His fight is with Ethiopians not with those who hurt Ethiopia and Ethiopians.

A second thought however, is it possible the army came to its senses and defyed meles' order? That will truly be normal.

Secondly, do you know who Tsegaye Tadesse is? He was the Central Committee member of Mengistu’s party (WPE). He was also in charge of ideology and propaganda for Mengistu’s party. He was also the Chief Editor of the party’s news paper. His position in Mengistu’s WPE was very high and quite important. Now he is serving Mellesse as a hard cord TPLF/Woyane spins doctor.

Desperate Meles Zenawi wants the Ethiopian people to calm down by spinning a false story as a means of his usual technique to stay in power; by such a fabricated story, he may be able to fool the innocent Ethiopian peasants, but he will not fool the diaspora people.

For example, if the Ethiopian army has attacked and killed 19 Sudanese armies, why didn’t the Sudan army fire back on its attackers?

The second lie is that the article says that Sudan does not have a boarder dispute with Ethiopia, and that the boarder between Ethiopian and Sudan has not been demarcated, but didn’t Meles Zenawi himself told the Ethiopian Parliament that he had made a land deal with Sudan and the border demarcation between Sudan and Ethiopia was completed?

Finally, Sudan has been driving out some Ethiopian refuges and handing them over to Meles Zenawi; how come all a sudden, Sudan changes its policies and grant to an Ethiopian local official a refuge status?

Meles,we may not be able to catch you and kill you, but one day your lie will kill you and destroy your entire family including your political gangs.

I am not surprised how a “minor” situation involving Eritrea and Djibouti caught the attention of the U.S, AU, and UN. But, when it comes to Ethiopia invading or attacking its neighbors, the “concerned” parties above are now where to be found. In the case of Eritrea and Djibouti, the parties above were quick to condemn Eritrea for its “military aggression” without even properly investigating the incident. Do you notice the double standards? The Ethiopian government has become a mercenary client of the West. It is not a coincidence that a week ago Ethiopia received $847 million from the West; and this week it attacked the Sudan. Before Ethiopia invaded Somalia, the West also gave it money to “fight poverty.” The West is throwing a lot of money at Ethiopia, and yet, it remains in the same state. Unfortunately, this money is not destined to save the poor people of Ethiopia; it is meant to reward the mercenary ‘Lords of War” for helping the West drive out China from the Sudan, and toppling African governments that do not wish to serve the imperial agenda over the interest of their peoples.
The Bush administration has called the war in Darfur genocide. However, this administration which claimed to want to “spread democracy,” and liberated the oppressed has remained idle while innocent civilians are being slaughtered and raped. The concession the Sudanese government has made, at the behest of the UN, has not succeeded in limiting China’s appetite and conquest of Sudanese oil.
So, what will limit China’s expansion or drive it out of Sudan? Answer: A new Sudanese government and a new Sudanese constitution. These events would help the West pressure the new Sudanese “government” to draft new laws more favorable to western oil companies. The following events have already been applied in Iraq. Now all that’s left for the West to do is to repeat it in the Sudan.
The next war to be waged by the Bush administration via its Ethiopian proxy will come before or on January 2009. However, unlike the “war on terrorism” this war will be fought under the banner of “saving the people of Darfur.” This war has already started. The rebel group Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) succeeded in driving hundreds of armed convoys from Chad through the desert of Sudan unnoticed with help from France. JEM’s daring attack on the Sudanese capital has demonstrated Sudan’s weakness. Consequently, the West’s desire for a “favorable” regime change can only take place if it gets involved directly or by using its Ethiopian proxy to repeat what it did in Somalia.
If Ethiopia does go to war with Sudan and topples the Islamist government, don’t be surprised if the Arab world extends its support to Ethiopia armed opposition groups. Most likely, Ethiopia will be fighting its insurgent group on multiple fronts. In addition, the Ethiopian government will be surrounded by its enemies to the North, South, East, and West. Furthermore, its reckless mercenary behavior will most likely lead to a regime change in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian government’s actions will accelerate its downfall. And maybe this might be the catalyst that units the opposition.

Here We go again!
This news is really too good to believe. I would be really happy if this has happened and Woyane's Army is protecting our boarder instead of muzzling the voice of the people and killing our citzens. However I very much doubt that it is true, especially when one of the source of the news is Tsegaye Tadesse, the infamous journalist known for writting articles that bluntly accuse the oppositions and is always proponent of EPRDF and opponent of the struggle against Woyane.
I would also like to ask all Ethiopian news media like EMF, EthiopianReview, Ethiopiazare and others to refrain from posting this type of news, that will divert our attention from our enemy, before making sure that it is true and trustworthy.
How many times do we have to be decived by Woyane's fabricatied news? Woyane has been and is using the same cheap tactic to divert away the attention of the Ethiopians, from the mistakes atrocities and blunders that it has commited against our country and our people.

We should remain vigilant, keep our struggle and help and support all the political groups that are working day and night to bring down the Meles regime, no matter which way, and install a democratic system that will be governed by the vote of the people.
