I am very surprised with your “adnakot” of the Derg Regime serawit including people like Br General Merdassa Lelissa who ordered the death of hundreds of innocent women and children in Sheeb (Eritrea). These innocent people were made to die in a barbaric and painful way by crashing them with tanks. Eritreans may forget because they are forgetfull but God will never forget the “chifchefa” by the Derg Serawit. But the same God is forgiving as well . . . I was in Asmara in May 1991 when the so called “Huletegnaw Abiotawi Serawit” was being chased like rubbit and then offered mercy by the EPLF fighters and the forgiving Eritrean people. It is the Eritrean people who should be honored for their civilized character.

Dear Ethiopian! There are so many Ethiopian Hero’s died and alive in the former Ethiopian armed forces, but this occasion was established by most of the former Ethiopian Airforce members Association. Still now I do not know who were given the Names of the former Ethiopian Navy members. I have complained and mentioned before for some of the Higher Rank officers who are not to be Hero’s and they were the main Hedech(killer the innocent Naval Members) of the previous soldiers. I was coversated one of the event commitee member and He sayed to me; He has got those Naval hero’s names from the Former Ethiopian Navy Association(FENA) New published BOOK; This Book(ETIYOPIYANA YEBAHR TEREFOCHWA) have critisised by the former Ethiopian Nav-members. Most of the former Nav-members had never read and heard about this occassion. I would like to thank you M/r Neamn and all Ethiopian who are contributed for your lovely country Ethiopian Hero’s for the last chance to comment. In future I would like to write about the FORMER ETHIOPIAN NAVY HISTORY, (During my service perioad only) To introduce to Ethiopian including Massawa Battle.

I wish the name of major Tsegaye Daka is mentioned and recognized. He was among the last defenders of Ethiopian soveregnity in Assab zone and killed himself while wrapping himself with the Ethiopian flag than surrender to the Shabians. Please look into this past hero’s story and give him the recognition he might deserve.

Ethiopia has never been short of producing commandable and priceless patriots since creation; and ,these men and women, the sons and daughters of the motherland, Ethiopia will continue to live in heaven,in our loving hearts, and our minds for many,many centuries to come. They all are memorable and precious Ethiopians who were born Ethiopians and lived Ethiopians and of course, died Ethiopians for Ethiopia and Ethiopians. God and Ethiopia are happy because the living-patriots are with us in God’s blessed home.

All patriots in heaven and those of on earth have also been and are and will be proud of one son of Ethiopia, the one and the only one who was given to Ethiopia as precious gift from the almighty God, born Ethiopian and fought for Ethiopia and produced the greatest valuable results followed by victory. He was captain Abdi. His story is simply the story of Ethiopia and has no bullshit in the history he and his platoon mad for the motherland, Ethiopia.

In short, this man was a young energetic, highly skilled, who did not simply give even a fraction of a chance for Ethiopia’s enemies and didn’t let themselves loose like mad dogs and infect the soul of Ethiopia. In the battle he and his platoons engaged with shabiaya, hired and fooot soldiers, as a captain, he simply drew the sketch of the battle, planned,and acted. He was only 29 and had only one motherland,he was kind and believed in giving a second chance fo someone who is genuinely humble and honest; but not with enemies of Ethiopia.

Not only Ethiopians had witnessed the victory he brought for Ethiopians and his qualified platoon, even shabiaya followers and supporters have said it again and again and have admited beyond a resonable doubt that, indeed, this captain had extrimenated hundreds of shabiya soldiers and left them stay dead where they made permanent contact with the arid and burned soil they fell face down.

Ethiopians, just mentally walk on and throught that ardious yet remarkable and victorious journy that captain Abdi and his platoon travelled, if you had to stop and think, you would definitely reach a valubable conclusion that captain Abdi is a shining star in our mind. God bless him.
