As to Lily and the family, i know you are all Christian and believe in God as well, please put your focus to your God rather than to the flesh and the world.

I have seen some of your videos and have seen how you are helping the poor. You really seem to have passion for what you do.. ‘giving’.

All I want to say is don’t give up. I feel sad for what happened to you. However, you can not let three people deter you from doing what you love. And rememeber you have been in Ethiopia for i guess 6 years and have met and worked with other Ethiopians. Not everybody is the same. Think of the children whose lives you have helped save. There is much greater picture than the three people who have done you wrong.

If you get the support from the people you can make it through. And belive me all Ethiopians who know of your work do love you and appreciate you. Just see it as a big obstacle and climb over it. Don’t let millions suffer for a mistake 3 people commited. I am not saying what happened to you is normal or simple. But It could happen in many other countries.

If we can appologise on behalf of those who mistreated you and we entreat you to continue what you were doing because it really means a lot. Other investors will definetly think twice just by seeing your experience in Addis. That is good they should think twice. However, if you just give up and abandon everything the poor and the innocent would be punished a hundred fold for no fault of theirs.

If your security is the problem find the solution. Only you can find the solution cause your passion can move mountains.

I was in a cafe in Addis and the buzz is that the organisers of Miss Tourism of the Millennium http://www.misstourismofthemillennium.com have not been paid at all after more than one year.

The winners of that beautiful event did not event get their US$5000 prize from the government , the government is now saying they have no money to pay any the Queens and people who came to Ethiopia to show a good side of our country to the world during our Millennium. Shame on our government

I think because you are an American and an outsider, you will appriciate Mr Zenawi. I am sure if you were the thousands of Addis residents who have been moved out of Addis with no where to go will not have the same feelings. I think Mr. Ozeri is still in a dillema whether to go back to Addis and continue his project or stay away.
Since Mr. Ozeri faced these problems, in my opinion, he has to be part of the solution too. Otherwise everything will go dead end.

Ethiopians are merciful. But the present ruling clique does not share the mentality of the majorty of our people. They
are exceptions that emerge once in 500 years.

Some investers only see their own advantage. They don’t mind how the situation of the native people is as long as their pocket is full. This is dangerous. They have to cooperate with the society by which they want to improve the standard of living of the people. They have to strive for fair competetion and the rule of law.

What Mr. Ozeri experiences is a reflection of lawlessness, lack of accountability. Mr. Ozeri’s case would be a good reference for those who want to run a business in Ethiopia.
