Why is now Mr. Al Bashir very active to reach out his people and to pop up his deplomatic relations with neighboring countries and former enemies?

The answer is simple. He wants to buy time and gradually avert the charge. He is practicaly beautifyng himself. However, he will never escape from being arrested.
His political rally in a place that he rarely visits is a sign of guilty consciousness.

The remarks of Ethiopia's Zenawi on Sudan is just a habit of phrase- mongering. he searches a word that covers up his real nature and forwards a fake slogan.
"Birds f the same feather flock together", British saying express it well.

He will be the next to be indicted or he will face harsh measures from his own people.
Crime Ministers in Africa are alarmed by the ICC courageous stance.
It is a pain in the neck for those who committed crimes, actors of genocide, ethnic-cleansing etc,.

Africans must be aware of the fact that they are still living a life worse than pre-colonial times. The riches of Africa is monopolized by a handfull of government officials and military men.

How can Africa come out from this vicious circle?

Unless the rulers of 21st Century Africa cope up with the interests or well being of their own people their are doomed to failure.
It is wonderful that a Non-African Justice institution cares for the people of Africa and the challenges they are facing.
On the contrary, it is great shame for African leaders that they do not welcome such a noble concern for Africa as well as the world.

Idle terrorism [my new expression!]is perscuting innocent people, genocide, crime against humanity and ethnic-cleansing.

Justice for all people of the world! Justice is a prerequisite for peace.

In this article:

“Concern for justice should not trump concern for peace,” Meles said.

In an interview in 2003 regarding Badme, he was asked why he wouldn't give up Badme "for peace":

Q: But in the interest of peace, as you say it's a godforsaken place - isn't it better to let it go and move on?

A: Sure, if injustice was the mother of peace, we would do that.
