A lot of Ethio-Americans are suffering by the police and the court system of Ethiopia unlawfully. Many of them are asked for too much bribes. American emabassy is aware of some of the problems that Americans are undergoing. Elias, it is high time that you bring this case to a discussion and people vent their frustration with the Ethiopian legal system. A lot of Ethio-Americans are suspended from flying out of Ethiopia because of matching names, civil legal cases, gangsters to extort money out by conspiring with judges, and so forth. A lot of people are suffering by corrupt legal system. The government is aware all these problems. It is not willing to take action against the criminal in the legal system.

The Ethio government is a self-appointed, not elected by the people, seized on power with the help of an educated poor Tigry army of farmers and guns. It is a government that is harmful, dangers, malicious and running the Embasies, police, court, and all kinds of crimes and illegal systems in our country. It is it which is looting, extorting Ethiopian’s money, industrial machinaries, and Ethiopians wealth and resourses and transporting to Mekele,Tigre. Have you seen the state of the art Library, hirise buildings, airport,roads that he built and building in Mekele while millions of Ethiopian people in other part of the country have no water, electricty, road and starving to death? Where do you think the came and come to do all these??? Do you know Tigray Ethiopians students all get 4.00 grade point upon graduating High School and most are sent aboard for Higher Education, some are admitted to Universities where all costs paid for them with the stolen Ethiopian people’s money?
Do you know Tigray Ethiopian in dispora are given all kinds of Ethiopian business opportunities, including land while non-Tigrian Ethio are systamitacly prevented from getting the same oppurtunity? Do you have any clue that the Evil Lily Betru is Tigray? And why she has such a nerve to do such a horrible deed against a man who is doing good things for the poor Ethiopian people?
It is this illegal government who is committing all kinds of crime against Ethiopian people as well as non Ethiopian.
Wake up!!!

Thank you benaiveNot you said it right and to the point, we have to make our self’s a story tellers. There is a lot of sufferings our people are going through back home but some of us are focusing on how much Dollar we are going to make. After all we are part of the problem if we don’t do some thing to stop it.

Can somebody post these lily and her familiy photo please.At leaset let us know this disgraced family to becareful and give a lesson that they can’t have a free ride when they come here in the US to spend the money they have stolen from the poor people.

This lady is messing around with the wrong person or group of people for that matter. First he is Jewish and he will have the best lawyers even money can not buy at his disposal. Even he has done something that will be considered offensive to her, he will bring his entire tribe down on her like a wall of high wall. I like to sit back and watch the next scenario on this story. Lily may not know who she just messed with. The whole Brooklyn and Manhattan is going to descend upon her. This may even be the regime’s undoing. I am dead serious. It will be very interesting how Meles is going to respond to this. I would like to assume rightly so how the Prime Minister is going to respond. But I want to wait and see. I am familiar with the company Mr. Ozeri founded, built and sold. Unless she can have half of Brooklyn and Manhattan on her side, I highly suggest to her current close friends to start distancing themselves from Lily because it is going to be an ugly and bloody site. She is dead meat!!!!!!

This is what we African diasporas should have done, back to the home land and develop Africa what ever our citizenship could have been. East or west, north or South Africa. We owe our Africa better than she deserve. We migrated far all over the world, got the education still cheating our own people repeatedly. We cannot complain about colonial time, I guaranty you all African leaders are worst than the slaveholder of the past. The Lillie of Africa is all over Africa, cheating, killing and stepping in somebody toes to get ahead. We the African out of Africa should start fund raising and pay Mr. Ozeri for the good things he did for Ethiopian poor. How about say thank you from all Africans…what we the owner of African ancestor of yester year did not even think to do what this man tried to accomplish. Let us hold hand and praise his unfinished commitment to raise Africa to the 21 century. The greed of Lillie and her husband should not left scot-free. There are many African lawyers all over Africa, Europe and America, join, work free to bring this people to justices. Not only his money but to clear the dirty smears that they plotting.
The Ethiopian government should be held liable and the American government should fight back for his own citizen. After all this kind American citizen could choose to stay in America and collect interest in his money, but he gambled for the good of others. Is in it the philosophy of America is to spread democracy to all? Why should the melles and the Lillie stay in power by the help of the American embassy in Ethiopia, the ambassador giving a green light, covering all the human brutality. Why double standard when he comes about the melles regimen. The Ethiopian government should equally treat like Robert Mugabie I do not see any different… the senate should call the ambassador or replace him; he is becoming one of them.
