  1. It must be now very well understood that cosmetic changes such as building high rises and fancy roads in Addis are not crucial that can secure the food security that Ethiopian currently need. I guess Woyane is loosing the game similar to Haileselassie and Derg.

  2. No doubt, this is not a result honest examination at the criterion to determine the state of affairs in these countries. It’s rather a politically motivated compilation that probably took the author/s an hour over latte to complete the b.s. list. In my humble opinion, it belongs in the trash bin.

  3. Since tplf came to power Ethiopia fail to worst administrative group but more probably advantageous due to counter-terrorist .this worst government have no any means of survive on the future unable to feed own people. the economic 2 double digit remain on paper

  4. TPLF tried to survive by donated money from the west -Even they start to measure their “Economic progress’ by measuring how much money they donated by the west rather than what the country economically progressed by uplifting its strength in the manufacturing and producing Sectors-Just Tplfites are a laughing Stocks of the Millinium

  6. #11 Mikael,

Stop your cunning fox stupid attention diversion lame duck sterile propaganda finger pointing at some 5 million peaceful Eritrean people while we Ethiopians are ONLY interested in discussing on how to bring about good democratic and good governance for the 90 million wretched and impoverished Ethiopians living on the shameful international left over crumb handouts, year in and year out. Please leave alone the Kenyans, the Sudanese, the Egyptians, the Eritreans, the Somalis, etc. to be taken care of by the peoples of these countries because of the fact that four of your fingers directly point back at you while one of your five fingers keep pointing at others. Aren’t you ashamed deep down to your bone marrows?

Those who live in very thin glass houses should not throw stones at others. :)

  7. Folks,

I heard this very funny story yesterday while doing some shopping in Atlanta that Artist Solomon Takalign is penning a new ‘patriotic’ song dedicated to the new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hailemariam Dessalegn titles ‘Finchitu Haile’. How low can this shameless scab stoop to maintain the bread crumbs he has been getting from Woyanne? What a lard ass loser!!!!

  8. Accoriding to woyanes economic experst, i Stopped eating beef to fight high food price and i hope ethiopia will make the 21 rank in the index.

    No Beef

  9. to #17 hagozze: to another dedeb weayane,
I checked the failed state index from 2011 till 2008 in 4 years
they imporved themeselves by 4 from 16 to 20.
i know lie comes natural to you people but you can not deny the fact.

  10. #11 What do you think about the fact below, an excerpt retrieved from Nepal Times.
The split from foreign aid is a significant one, even though western
economists doubt that the southern three will survive on their own. Yet,
the numbers already look promising and there is precedence for economic
stability in foreign aid-free, developing countries.
*Take Eritrea. Long an isolationist nation determined to be self-reliant,
the country’s GDP and income both rose nearly 9 percent in the last ten
years, with adult illiteracy dropping by 8.4 percent. Life expectancy,
school enrollment and primary school completion rate all increased,
while mortality rate dropped substantially. During the same period,
Eritrea’s ratings on the UN Human Development Index which measures
achievement in three dimensions (long healthy life, knowledge and a
decent standard of living) rose 9.3 percent.
While Eritrea is no shining star ranking at an unenviable 130th in the
HDI, it does challenge the paradigm of dependency, faced by many
developing countries, on foreign aid. Its social indicators are
improving, slowly but surely, and without the backing of the banks in
    the west.
Mimicking Eritrea’s headstart on self-reliance, Venezuela, Bolivia,
Ecuador and most likely others are eager to shrug off what they perceive
as the political yoke of foreign aid. They think western aid is
frequently aligned with the geopolitical priorities and interests of
    developed nations.
