		<description>Generally, a good article.  To pick on a couple of points:

The Prof said &quot;This decision represented a historic miscalculation that has cost the opposition dearly&quot;. Hindsight is always good but I believe in this case, even in retrospect, there is no concrete evidence to support this conclusion.  What have those opposition MPs who decided to join Parliament have done? What have they achieved?

The Prof also said &quot;The EPRDF, always an extraordinarily effective party, is now ubiquitous and entrenched throughout the country&quot;. I am not sure how &quot;effectiveness&quot; is measured. If it is measured by how many people you kill, torture &amp; jail, the Prof is correct! If it is measred by daylight robbery, deceit &amp; arrogance, he is right!  Finally, if it is measured by using whatever illegal &amp; unconstitutional means to stay in power, I cannor argue with him!</description>
