Inshalla Ethiopia? Sharia Law in Ethiopia? Is Meles Right After All?

What kind of people worship a God that would lay waste to a people and refuses to forgive people who do evil things?

by Teddy Fikre  dated: Sunday, July 15th, 2012

“If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, “You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord.” When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through.”

The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath.  He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies!  The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished.  He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm.  The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.”

“So now the LORD says: “Be patient; the time is coming soon when I will stand up and accuse these evil nations.  For it is my decision to gather together the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them.  All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy.”

“I will sweep away everything in all your land,” says the LORD.  “I will sweep away both people and animals alike. Even the birds of the air and the fish in the sea will die.  I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, along with the rest of humanity,” says the LORD.  “I will crush Judah and Jerusalem with my fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship.”

“God murders Onan for refusing to commit incest with his sister in law.”

“You Ethiopians will also be slaughtered by my sword,” says the LORD

Oh my God.  How evil this religion of Islam is.  This Allah they pray too, what kind of people pray to a God that is so wicked, so “jealous” and so full of hatred?  What kind of people worship a God that would lay waste to a people and refuses to forgive people who do evil things?  What kind of religion espouses Ethiopians being slaughtered by his sword?  What kind of God would kill a man for refusing to have sex with his sister!

You know what, I change my mind, George W. Bush was right after all, the Republicans had it right that Islam is a nefarious cult, and Meles Zenawi and TPLF agents are justified in wiping out Muslims in Ethiopia.  If this is the essence of Islam and these words are what children are taught in the name of religion, we should immediately do all that we can to eradicate Islam from Ethiopia and every ..CONTINUED…

  1. Nothing will prevent the Muslims from directly applying what you are wishing for them and advocating against them simply because they possess more potentials. Tolerance and mutual respect are the Gods that may save all the siners like you.

  2. So what? Nothing will be worse than the evil demented hateful, coldblooded and heartless Esayss, Meles and the TPLF thugs. They are Evil as they come…they came to divide, loot, torture and kill.

Had to admit that I made a serious mistake of my life – used a very unusual and course language to comment on your article. Teddy – I stand corrected – and keep up writing your informative and illuminating article.

The lesson in this whole thing is that our community needs to read before jumping the gun, we need to attack the facts not the man, we need to disagree without name calling, and we need to have civility. I wrote that article like that on purpose…to show how

    1) how Muslims feel when they are attacked for the sins of others

    2) to show how commenting on something before knowing the full context is dangerous ….and counterproductive…

ANyway, all is forgiven anonymous…you now have lifetime immunity…you can say whatever you want about me and i will not attack back..

Stop communicating with yourself! You seem to be a very arrogant man that also contradict yourself. I’m the first Anonymous that you rained on, but I still stand on what I said that, nothing will be worse than the most hateful, coldblooded and heartless subhuman Esays, Meles and the TPLF killer machines who came to destroy and loot Ethiopia. Death to the Evil possessed Esays, Meles and the rest of racist TPLF criminals.

So Teddy is not communicating with himself …. Teddy replied to me NOT to YOU!

  3. What is this Teddy Fikre talking sheet? Does any body know who actually Teddy Fikre is? Is this a pen name? Ethiopian Review should not post an article unless Elias Kifle knows who the author is. If the author believes in his article, he or she must put a signature behind it and defend it with his life.

If the author hides his or her name, then this person does not believe in it. Who is going to read an article that the author does not believe in.If the author-Teddy Fikre-believes in his article, then he should post his picture to0. Otherwise, Ethiopian Review should not post it.

  4. “Don’t let anyone make you think that God chose Ethiopia as his divine messianic force to be, a sort of police man of the whole region. God has a way of standing before the nations with judgment, and it seems that I can hear God saying to Ethiopia ‘You are too arrogant! If you don’t change your ways, I will rise up and break the backbone of your power! And I will place it in the hands of a nation that doesn’t even know my name. Be still and know that I am God.'”

I think al-amoudi finally sent you the $20,000 check you have been crying for months. demo beleh beleh sele haymanot mefetfet jemerk? and who knows what you are going to write tomorrow. If you really think Islam is a peaceful religion, why not change your religion, your name etc. your unprovoked attack on christianity in general just because you didn’t get free food and welcoming is too childish. and people like you who lack the social skill are often attracted by Islam – a religion that dominates women and make them commodity to the point of one man having having 4 or 7 wives at the same time. learn some social skill, get nice chicks around you and enjoy life. then your bitterness on everything will ease and you will start to think rationally. I admired you when you stand against AESA.one but now i learnt that you are one sociopath who need help in how to pull life partner and love to be loved

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Selemon,

wow…did i once mention Ethiopian Orthodox Church in this article??? I mean I mentioned Catholic churches, and even Protestant…but did i once mention the word “Ethiopian Orthodox Church”…and even that I feel bad for…because I know there are a lot of grimy things that take place in our churches. Churches splitting off to form their own church, pastors who don’t do sermons and instead let the junior pastors pray, and now Ethiopian churches taking sponsorship money. you know what it is? That guilty conscience is a bitch, who ever got offended by this article is because you are doing the work of Satan as you preach about God. That is the only reason you would have gotten offended. Case Tezega!

    Teddy Fikre,

Stand for truth as you are doing. Many people are abusing, degrading, you. But never mind, to be humble comes with a reward. Never mind, God will make you more wiser.

We are not affraid anymore, the sun can stop shining, the earth can convulse, we want more but not less. We do not want our country to be another Saudi Arabia that stones women only for having sex and men with eternal immunity to be prostitute? There is no such GOD. God is impartial or does not discriminate gender.

We want more, but not another Somalia, ethnic supremacists Ethiopians has to think before propping Sharia in Ethiopia. You will regret forever when you lose even what you have. The bible says:” Ignorance comes before downfall. ” This applies to everyone. It does not matter whether you join Almouldi or the Wahabits, they are all the same under different name.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

First off, Muslims in Ethiopia are not Wahabits…some are..but most are not. FACT. How would you like it if I compared Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to right wing tea party racist evangelists in America? How would you like that guilt by association. I am a Christian through and through, but I am human even more. Stop using religion as a gang, we are not a mafia, start following the tenants of God and condemn less and hug your fellow Muslim. If not, you are nothing more..and nothing less…than a false profit (I spelled that intentionally).

Teddy you’r one sick (in fact very sick person) who needs immediate help. Please check with your nurse soon. This is not how you gain popularity to your rotten and dying personality. Meles is probably the most accomplished and visionary leader Ethiopia and Africa has ever seen. It doesn’t matter weather a Christian or Muslim leads Ethiopia. Because Meles hails from a region where both Christianity and Islam took root for the first time in Africa. Meles comes from the region of the queen of sheba and Negashi. He is a man who counts illustrious histroy and one who made one. You and like of Eritrean Elias Kifle have no place in Ethiopia and Africa. You’re idea is as bastard as your own child.

But I know this: Teddy you’re one very sick person who is so depressed and desperate (which by the way is showing on your face from day to day). You found a reason for your mere existence by insulting Meles and his illustrious accomplishments. Other than that both you and your Eritrean buddy Elias Kifle has no other reason to exist except to capitalizing on insult.

Teddy the lunatic in his own words about his madness:
“My friend depression has with me for as long as I remember, she has been ingrained in my genes passed down from generation to generation. I often state that nobility is earned but our last name is the only thing inherited. But upon further examination, I have found this fact to be baseless. Because there is another thing we inherit even if we don’t want her—this inheritance is a negest named Depression. This queen has been passed down to me from my mother and her mother before that, she is part of me I just can’t shake. Depression is my gabi, she drapes me in melancholy and keeps me company while I sleep on my couch watching television. She is a persistent lady, she has found more ways to seduce me and with her I have given birth to countless bastard dark fantasies.

I am not sure why she insists of haunting me so. She has robbed me of countless friends and kept me confined in solitary prisons. I have tried many ways to rid her of my blood, I have drank a plethora of liquor, popped Zoloft and Lexeporo, and even tried to break up with her by taking Xanax. Shit, I tried to smoke her away with weed, I tried to erase her with wine and beer. But alas, this bitch won’t leave my side—I am stuck to her like crazy glue and she has me gobbed with like toxic ooze. I have tried and tried unsuccessfully to release her from me by sleeping with endless Ethiopian women, but the only thing I found in their panties was Depression waving from their uterus. Lord knows how many times I have had dark thoughts of death, but somehow I managed to live through it all in spite of my own undoing. Depression only grew stronger when I saw my mother trying to commit suicide on multiple occasions and fortified more when my father passed away from lung cancer.

It’s not always like this tough; once in a while, that bitch leaves me and I find myself smiling and sharing warm conversations with friendly strangers. When Serendipity finds me and chases away my blues, I hold on to her like a lost soul in the middle of a lonely sea. You see, Depression is the reason I am misunderstood. People take my bluster as a sign of arrogance and my confidence for ignorance. But if they only knew, deep inside is a child wanting to be loved by the very people who abhor me so. I seek validation from strangers and create mythic fictions of hatred only to seek vengeance for this made up story of oppression. Depression has me shadow boxing myself only to continually knock myself out with jabs and round house upper cut to my own chin.”

    Teddy Fikre replies:

Do you think that is embarrassing what you posted? Yes I had depression once because my father passed away and my community pillaged me as I extended a hand of friendship. I am not ashamed of once having had depression. My God, now people are using depression as a way to paint me as a lunatic. Sewoch, wake up, people that have depression are not crazy, we all get it once in a while. Don’t believe me? Go to the local Ethiopian restaurant, you see that man sitting and drinking Johnny Walker while Tizita is playing. Yup that man. He has depression because he misses his dead wife, or his parents back home. I wrote that article to inspire others not to be afraid of depression. I am a testament for the blessings that await once you get out of depression. That artilce once saved a girl from committing suicide after she read it on http://www.browncodnor.com . That was the proudest day of my life. Now here you come using that article to think you can embarrass me with what I wrote. My God, two polar opposites, I saved a girl with that article now with with his own words and quoting my article, I AM just committed suicide. My friend, I am going to pay you for posting that, you just gave me empathy from people and earned yourself eternal condemnation. You are a joke. You forgot your last name from your psuedoname eko, your name should be “I AM A FUCKING IDIOT”.

  7. Tedy, I read the entire of your article and found it both over pragmatic as well as disturbing. The central message you tried to promote can be reduced in to: “… let us not fall for the trap of Meles Zenawi” or “…Ethiopian Christians – take up the cause of Muslims in Ethiopia”. That, of course, is a crucial lesson our community need to learn.

In spite of its unifying central message, I found your analogy very troubling and the supporting evidence not sincere. The entire critique is based on false premise on the traits of God. This reveals your skewed or superficial knowledge of the Old Testament, New Testament as well as Christian faith. I strongly advise you to reread the entire of your Bible before quoting it in order to meet your desired result.

Primarily, you falsely portrayed God (Christians’ God) as a god ”who would kill a man for refusing to have sex with his sister”! Too disturbing! Which part of the Bible says so? Where did you found it? Please, let me know.

Second, you labeled the Christian God as is “full of hatred”. Too bad and too perverted knowledge of scripture! Where do you find such a skewed image of God as being hateful to his people? According to the Biblical reference you quoted and the entire Bible, God hate only sin and worshiping other idols but not humans.

Third, you also said the Christian God “refuses to forgive people who do evil things”. What do you mean by that? Did not you read the book of Jonah? Did not God forgave Israelite (people of Nineveh) when they repent their sins? Ill-informed knowledge!

In contrary to how you foolishly choose to fight Woyane by distorting the image of the almighty God the Bible clearly says “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.” Psalms 103:8. The followings also are additional readings on “God’s mercy”:
Psalm 103:11 “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.”
Psalms 86:5 “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”
Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”
Isaiah 54:7 “For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.”
Exodus 34:6-7 “And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.”
Ephesians 2:4 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us..”
Numbers 14:18 “The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.”
Though I am 100% against woyane and the trap of Zenawi, I found your article over-pragmatic, immature and disturbing. It reveals your misguided love, passion and worship of Ethiopian than the almighty God. Unfortunately, god is not a respecter of a person or a nation. Unless that individual or nation repents God’s judgment is up on him. That means you need to love your God first then your country. I know in such pragmatic world this looks too old, impractical and so foolish! But it is an everlasting truth/// Blessings

  8. Teddy,

You coward sociopath. Why did you remove my comment from your brown condor? Answer the public if you know the difference between the old testament and the new testament where Christianity is based. Due to your ignorance, you quoted from the old testament and accused or insulted Christianity. How ignorant?.

I hope Elias will respect my free speech here. As Socrates once said “little knowledge is dangerous” your little knowledge is exposing your lack of understanding on Christianity. Above all, you are a typical Ethiopian who has utter disregard to what he has and appreciate others. Next time, do your reaserch before you rant. You have shown to the public that you have less than 1% knowledge on Islam and Christianity, yet you wrote a full article as if you are a scholar or some versed individual.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

Selemon (thank god your name is not spelled Solomon because you are far far far from it eko)

First off Selemon your comment is on browncondor.com i just did not have a chance to approve it because i was working …unlike you i actually work eko…now…as far as your question..first of …we Christians believe in both the old and the new testaments…they are both holy to us..where as Jews only believe in the old testament…so we are beholden to the old testament and the new testament..unless you are telling me that Christians in Ethiopia only believe in the New Testament and don’t pay any regards to the Old testament.

Moreover, the old testament was written before the time of Jesus..whereas the new testament was written by the apostles of Jesus. Grant it, the new Testament is not descriptive when it comes to God’s wrath as the old Testament…but again…we Christians do not get to only hold on to the words we like…we are people of the old and the new testament….something tells me though that you are a Pente…i could be wrong..

So I will ask you one more time Selemon…so as a “Christian” do you only pray to the new Testament? What of Genesis? What of Psalms, Ecclesiastes, and Esther to name a few. Do you not believe in those words??

Also…you sure are full of anger and venom for a Christian…do you think Jesus went around calling people he disagreed with cowards and sociopaths?? Dude you sound like a fundamental jihadist…are you al Queda yene Gay ta?? Don’t blow me up eko::

  9. Teddy’s depression need immediate attention. Here is how the sick person put it to interview:
“Well for the longest time I struggled with insecurities: fear of failure, fear of success, fear of not being accepted…just fear in general. Over time, these worries and fears led to anxieties, which finally manifested into a long struggle with depression. This led me to become distant and disassociate with people for fear of judgment. I know one thing: there is no such thing as depression in the Ethiopian community. The word for that would be crazy or “ibid”.

I was not about to admit to countless people that I was depressed for fear of being labeled as such. This became a vicious cycle, a cycle that had me going to countless therapists, taking countless medication, all trying to shed the shadow of depression. Finally, when the curtain lifted, I was left realizing that the biggest nutrition from which depression feeds is fear of being labeled. So I decided that I would write about it without any fear or shame. It was almost like emerging from the closet of fear and stepping into the sun light of confidence.”

Teddy the depressed and father of a bastard’s face is inflating like a ballon. Lunatic and crazy are few of the word that describe the owner of browncondor.com and his Eritrean buddy the dejected Elias wodi Kifle.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

  10. Ato Teddy Fikre!

Are you a real Ethiopian? You are confused. By the way you have committed a serious crime by inflaming hatred against a belief of a group of people under the US laws, if you are living in that country. I urge Ethiopian Muslims in that county advice a lawyer and take legal action for calling to ‘wipe out Muslims in Ethiopia, and eradicate Islam from Ethiopia’ You are venomous, dirty, foul mouthed bastard that should not deserve to call an Ethiopian, let alone a human being. Where did you get that quote; it is not in the Quraan. How come Elias Kifle, who has been supporting Ethiopian Muslims in their struggle allow you web for such gutter? Shame on you. All Ethiopian Muslims should also post his words with his picture on all available websites, with a tile ‘A MAN CALLS FOR ETHIOPIAN MUSLIMS TO BE WIPED OUT!!

    Hailu Biraga,

Please forgive me I posted the above with out reading the whole article. Forget mycomments.

To all the Ethiopian Activist websites,

It was good that Teddy talked and wrote some mixed English-Amharic articles on AESA One. Although I was sympathetic to his zeal at the time, his lack of poise when he talk to Abebe Belew and his childish scrip not to demonstrate against AESA One was a bit embarrassing. As the old Ethiopian proverb goes ‘Lij Yabokam Lerat Aibekam.’Here he comes with his real childish play. Young man, you need to read, learn from those who know Ethiopia; about its politics, its people, culture and religions. If you love Ethiopia, you should love its people; that includes Muslim Ethiopians. Otherwise, I do not know what Ethiopia means to you, its dust. No real Ethiopian calls for a section of his country men wiped out from the face of the earth. This not like exercising wrap music. Please, please, please read, read, learn, learn about Ethiopia; Ethiopia, the country we struggling for is not about the mountains and rocks; it is the people, don’t forget!Z PEOPLE- Christians, Muslims, Wakefechas and all others.I know your article seems to be due to lack of awareness, but brother ‘Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity’. Therefore, I humbly ask you to apologize on this heinous piece you scribbled.

to the wider Ethiopian activists and their websites,

Please, you must be very careful when you enlist people in to your websites and electronic media in the ensuing struggle against the totalitarian regime of Meles Zenawi at this critical moment. I have been following this guy. He looks like ‘Yalawaki sami Nift Yilekalikal. You should try to avoid childish and immature persons and articles which harm the emerging unity of our struggle and feed the Woyannes with what they want. If this guy wants to support Meles on his agenda against Ethiopian Muslims, he should go to Aiga forum which is full of exactly similar article he has written, not Ethiopian Review or other anti-Woyanne and pro Ethiopian webs. I can confirm that there are brilliant young people doing a good job that can move our struggle in forward, such as the EPRP Youth League. I advice this kid to learn from them and understand Realpolitik before brings more harm to Ethiopian united struggle.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Gosh Hailu,

I shall assume you did not read the full article and therefore are having a mouth orgasm without knowing the full context of what I wrote. Call me what you must, childish minamen, I have been called worse by a village worth of early mind enjaculators who insist on spewing seeds of empty thoughts from their mouth without knowing all the facts. Sewoch, congrats, you see, I wrote this article like this for two reasons,

    1) to show you how it feels to be discriminated on as as Muslim for the sins one did not commit

    2) To show how the Habesha syndrom of not knowing shit and refusing to READ, skimming one paragraph then morphing yourself into a witness expert and a Goddamn judge and jury full of condemnation is killing Ethiopia and the rest of Africa. One advice to all the people who made harsh comments without reading the full article, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND PICK UP A BOOK! if writing that made me lose some fans, so be it. There is nothing more dangerous than a fool who thinks he is educated, wey gud Habesha, a whole country full of ignoramus fools who swear they have an IQ of 150 when they are stupid as rocks and dirt.

Let me leave you with this…bado be bado, be bado aweru, but bado tefu

  12. Raya,

    Dear Teddy,
Sorry, I posted the above comment without reading the whole article. the way you put the negative quotations elicit disingenuous comments like mine. Bravo Teddy I like your article after reading all. Probably all negative comments came as a result skimming through the the first part.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Gash Hailu,

All is forgiven. Stay blessed. One Ethiopia, Free Ethiopia, See Ethiopia, We are Ethiopia!

  13. This is irrespoonsible behavior, if you ask me. Whatever you do, don’t comment on the essence of a religion. (By the way, read Hitchens and dawkins, and you will get enough against EVERY religion.) This type of discussion should be reserved for the private sphere.

Even if we let that argument fall, this is an ill-timed article. Our focus should be on the “what happens after Melles” debate.

  14. Brother Teddy,

Now i understand your challenges as a human being. i was harsh on you and sorry if i add more pain to your soul. Saying that, i want you to understand the message of christianity and the Gosple itself. Contrary to your guess, i am not Pente. i am a follower of ethiopian orthodox church. I know the bible particularly the New Testment in which christianity is based. if you read the New Testmant, the gosple and all the messages of the appostles, you will learn that Violence and the teaching of christ are water and oil. they don’t go together. If colonizers use it, it is their mistake. if roman catholic use it for its henious act through child molestation, still it is the sin of the individuals. So does all the bigotery and the greed we see on our priests. all these are not true christians. the new testmanet has a message for these fake christians to repent and cease living their greedy life. Your mistake here is associating these people with the message of christianity. a smart 12 year old kid who is versed with the bible can disect you quite easily since you lack the understanding of who Jesus christ himself and his true followers. Yes in Torah and Old testment, you will find harsh measures and scary warnings or vs such as the one you qouted. the Old Testment and its practices is more like a constitution to jews in the Old days. If it was something we have to follow, christ shouldn’t have come and taught us his wisdom and teaching. Go and look at Luke, Matthew and Mark you will see many sentences that says “Moses says this to you, but i say this…..” etc.

I also suggest you read the entire Surah in Qoran. althogh most of Qoran is the same as the Old testement, Surah is an eye opener for you. last but least, religious topics are toxic. you will find many who applaud you but equal number of people will be bitter and angry about it because you are challenging their core belief system with little information you have. I suggest you stay away from it because it is divisive and that is the last thing the ethiopian society (muslim or christian) need. FYI, the Meles regime is using Religion as one of its tool to divide and conquire till recently. Hence, knowingly or unknowingly, you are participating in that divisive topic.

And also, please stay away from Ethiopian Review if you have such topics (Religion) in your mind. Ethiopian Review is the only Ethiopian site that is living to the standard on facing and exposing the primitive zemene mesafint style rule that is emposed on us and our families. in short, don’t tarnish this respected website

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Selemon,

How about this…let me interview you on BC Radio today about this topic. Are you down? you can use a fake name and block your call when you call in. Are you down? Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

    Teddisho

  15. Teddy, I am disappointed because you totally failed to answer my questions. This would make your action irresponsible and divisive than unifying. Do you remember the last days of the late Christopher Hichens? … Unless you confess your blasphemy you too will carry the curse of God all over your life and your family. I strongly advise you to repent your sin before passing to my second point.
Though Woyane’s involvement in religious affairs is wrong, as a victim family member of Muslim violence in Ethiopia, I would say Muslims need to demonstrate how to control their radical element from burning churches and homes of innocent Christian Ethiopians. If such a crime also has been a set up or perpetrated by Woyane itself, at least those Ethiopian Muslims in the west have the burden to reveal and condemn such an act against humanity. That is the only time Muslim Ethiopians would win our trust. Why?
As most of you remember, during March, 2011, Muslims in Ethiopia have torched 69 Christian churches, 81 residential complexes, a Bible school and an orphanage –in less than one month http://www.newsrealblog.com/2011/03/25/muslims-burned-69-churches-in-ethiopia-thousands-of-christians-flee/. Not content with this alone, at least two Christians have been murdered simply because they were Christian. For those radical Muslims, Christian blood has become utterly meaningless. As the result of their action, more than 10,000 families became homeless and still far from recovery in the South West of Ethiopia where my Christian families belong. While demonstrating for social justice, in the same time Muslims also must condemn the crime perpetrated against peaceful citizens in the name of their religion by their radical element. Not doing so is irresponsible and unacceptable.
Right now they look struggling woyane peacefully. This, however, looks to me strategic which originate from fear of woyane’s bullet.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    God’s Heresy,

Do you also condemn the Muslims who are oppressed in Ethiopia as you condemn the Muslims who do the offending?? Are you offended by this -> http://blog.ethiopianmuslims.net/?p=2172

    Teddy a good Christian

  16. Teddy,

First, apologize the entire christian community for tarnishing their religion. accept the fact that you were being emotional and acting like a child when you wrote that article. Appoligize saying that religious afairs is not your domain expertise and you were very shortsighted when you wrote that article. then i will be on your interview. Otherwise, you are a childish emotional brat seeking some attention and relevancy in our community. If you are sincear about about the ethiopian plight, appologize for your divisive article that creates muslim vs christian strife. Or else, as i said you are a simple brat who is chasing some dream to be relevant.

Let alone a 37 year old grown man like you, a 15 year old ethiopian boy knows the divide and conquere age old tactic that is implemented on us to create religious strife on our society by weyannes. due to your ignorance and the blinding ego you have, you are part and parcel of that strategy. As much as i don’t waste my time on that hodam pig (Nigusse weldemariam) i won’t on a brat like you unless you honestly apologize for your divisiveness and self induced hate to your heritage. After all, ethiopia had produced many less responsible and less intelligent human being like you in our generation. no wander they call us ahiya. you have no respect for yourself. you are out there just to be relevant and get acceptance. remember, the battle is between you and you yourself. don’t insult our religion if you get the message. i have followed your responses here in ER and in your blog, i haven’t seen any remorse except your childish responses

    Selemon

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Selemon,

Please accept with my sincerest regret…i mean this from the bottom of my heart…i really do …in fact..here i just wrote a deep and sincere apology to you and all “Christians” I offended eko .

Public Apology to you hode -> http://browncondor.com/events/2012/01/29/church-of-tewodaj-teddy-fikre/

I look forward to interviewing you on BC Radio

    SIncerely,

    Apologetic Fikre

    Selemon replies:

    Teddy

your sarcastic response adds more dent to your credibility. I won’t call that an apology. Besides, half of you content is about African American churches in which you failed to touch the mainstream ethiopian miemen. Listen, there is a flaw in the system but that flaw doesn’t warrant your repeated barrage on the church that kept ethiopian independence for centuries. without ethiopian orthodox church, ethiopia would not have existed. the hero you admire (Minilik) said to his people that there is a force coming to change your belief and that is how the people reacted to him to defend everything they have.

If you are seeking reform, that is positive but the approach you are taking is very destructive and filled with emense hate. Little do you know that the Ethiopian church is the only institution that people get to meet their own fellow countryman or women when they set foot in alien countries. it is a source of comfort and access to people to create connections and jobs. what you are attacking is all these. If you have issues with the Priests, go and confront them than shooting articles like a coward and expect others to do it.

Don’t forget as well what ever you write in this digital world will follow you till you go to your grave. it will be like your resume and people will remember what bad stuffs you said about the belief of many average ethiopian adding more pain to your depression. if i were you, i will target the key players; those who buy Mercedize Benz with your 10% contribution than the entire Christendom. Learn from Elias Kifle on how you isolate your targets. As hot headed as he is, Elias is never heard of attacking average people and believers. Haven’t you seen how Elias depicted aba diabilos (tegadalay pawlos)? he was flawless and was successful on presenting aba diabilos the way people understand. I guess you lived most of your life in the west and you dont know how to present your thought in a manner that is very respectful for an average citezen yet be effective on it. It shows you are just a toddler in Journalistic and Activism world. I was with you when you campaign against AESA.one. but now, i disown you because you are simply ranting than advocating a goal oriented campaign. sorry, i won’t be on your interview because you don’t deserve my time.

at the end of the day, you are my brother and i wish you more wisdom to guide you on what to target and what not. Please Read, Read, Read. you need to learn a lot

  17. Teddy Fikre,

I find it a little tricky from the beginning but having gone through the whole article, there is a truth in it. And perhaps one of most clever guy I came across who conceives the reality on the ground. I admire you my Compatriot. I would also suggest you that if you come to the point in a narrative way than you’ve gone through all the way round, would have easily been grabbed the whole point. My Muslim brothers read thoroughly before you comment this article please.
#keep on seeing things from different angle.

  18. I WANT KNOW WHY ER INTERESTED IN PUBLISHING THIS EMPTY STORY BY USELESS & NAZI MINDED HUMAN LOOKING BEAST.WHAT IS THE PROBLEM IF MUSLIMS & CHRISTIANS OF THIS COUNTRY UNITED & LIVE IN PEACE ? I WANT KNOW WHY ER CHOOSE TO GIVE FORUM FOR RUBISH IDEAS THAT PREPARE FOR DARK FUTURE OF THIS COUNTRY I NEVER THOUGHT ER WILL FLASH IT SELF LIKE SHIT IN TOILET. LOOK REAL ETHIOPIANS NO RELIGION OR ETHNIC DIVISION WHAT EVER YOU PUBLISHED. ETHIOPIANS GROWN AND MOVED ON NEVER TO RETURN BACK WARD. ER CONFUSED AND START SELF DISTRACTION OR WHAT ATO ELIAS???

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    ER Confused…

Let me guess…you are another leflef early mind ejaculator who did not read the full article aydel??

You are betam confused indeed eko::

“Tenesu, tenesu, tesebsebut, be Hebret ashenefu!”

  19. Selemon

Just shut up we fedup of your stupid arguments. Teddy wrote to show the truth about what scum extremists like you refuse to see; the mis-conception about Muslims. How can you blanketly charaterise all Muslims for acts committed by individuals burning churches? Do you ever see the burning of a number of mosques burned in Arsi, the Southern part of Ethiopia, the current scorched earth policy of the Woyane against Ethiopian Muslims? I do not make the majority of Christians responsible for any such acts as you did on Muslims.

You are a hate freak. Get lost and don’t come back.

  20. No, I haven’t read the entire article. But, as people keep appologizing to Teddy, this says a lot about us Abeshas. This is a message a learning lesson that Teddy is trying to teach us, not to jump to conclusion and attack people before doing your own homework. This tells us how we really lack in how we are not saving Ethipia but we rant because of fear or because we believe we are protectant of Ethiopia. Again, I haven’t read the entire article, no time. But from this comment it gave and taught me a lesson about us Habeshas about our judgement whether you liked the entire article or not, that is beside the point.

    However Tedddy,

This is not good time to talk about and enflame religion debates when Ethiopia is at critical moment, including non Orthodox christianity. Antagonizing others on weak Ethiopia (thanks to TPLF) at this moment will only affect Ethiopia especially in Ethiopia. Sometimes we the diaspora do not think we are driven by our own selfish motive to satisfy our frutstration or we think such comments writing infront of computer especially comments and baseless opinions, we think benefits Ethiopia. I don’t think so. There is consequences on what comments or articles we post or write. I am not talking about well thought out, backed posts but the ones we post because of emotions.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Peace,

You impeach yourself as you write brilliantly…if you actually read the whole thing…you would realize what I wrote does anything but inflame…I am offering penicillin…you are refusing to take it…and because of that…Ethiopia will die from infection …if you had enough time to write two paragraphs…you could have read the article…just saying..

“as you point a finger….there are three pointing back at you” …that might be a Muslim saying from the Qu’oran…wow…i just gave you a hint…HINT HINT! smh

    Teddisho

  21. Teddy, My apologies! Now, I read the whole article, I stand corrected. But instead of insulting and belittling people who commented on your first few paragraph, you should have tell us kindly and politely as good Muslim and Christian would to read the whole article.

    Teddy Fikre replies:

    Anonymous

Apology accepted. I did not insult anyone that did not call me some heinous names and insult me to the core without reading the full article eko. I know two wrongs don’t make a right…but still, i was only reacting to the hatred. I guess i have yet to learn to turn the other cheek. I need to read the Bible and Qu’ran more often I guess :/ Inshalla and Esgyaber willing, I will be more forgiving next time wendem/ehete.

    Teddy
