Meles Zenawi in critical condition – diplomatic sources

Agence France Presse (AFP) confirms Ethiopian Review’s report on Meles Zenawi’s health from several diplomatic sources.

BRUSSELS (AFP) – Ethiopian Prime Minister khat-addicted dictator Meles Zenawi was in a Brussels hospital in a “critical” state Wednesday, several diplomatic sources told AFP, but the Ethiopian government Woyanne regime denied he was unwell.

“He is in a critical state, his life is in danger,” said a diplomat who asked not to be named.

In Addis Ababa, however, government spokesman Bereket Simon denied reports that the 57-year-old premier was ill. “He is not in a critical state. He is in good condition,” the spokesman told AFP.

In Brussels, the Ethiopian embassy refused comment.

Questions were raised about Meles’ health when he missed a two-day African Union summit Sunday and Monday.

Diplomats in Brussels said he had been undergoing regular treatment on a private basis at one of the city’s major hospitals and had been in hospital for some days.

  1. He is better off dying in a Hospital than to die on a street like Gaddafi – although Ethiopians deserve to treat him like Gaddafi!

    hailo replies:

I agree. He is very lucky. He should have been dragged in the streets of Mekle

  2. Hey guys,
Let’s now talk about the future of the country he and his thugs have destroyed.

We need a new free and democratic country where power belongs to its people only. Remnants of old regime and woyyane thugs should not be part of any negotiations to build a new system for the country. We should be vigilant about foreign interference including from Shabia and other interest groups into our own affairs.

It is also important to reach out to pro-change people in the Woyyane army. Oppositions parties should put their acts together and stand up in unison.

    Victory to the Victims!

  3. Every person ultimately faces the finality(death)one way or the other.
Meles is the greatest evil leader of all time Enat Ethiopia has had.He sold our strategic interst conciously.Mengistu killed people of one generation but Meles killed people of all generations, hitory, national heritage and the country. Is he really Ethiopian,African or even a rational human being?
Must he dye only once like every one?Meles should die many times. He must die in small doses. He should die as many times as his body parts has.
The Greatest Evil Of All Times=Meles.

  4. Hi Elias Kifle the GREAT (Keep it up!),

I was never happy since years like these days. We must take the power now and send the beggars home.
We want to live in peace with our neighbours (Eritrea, Sudan, etc.) and prosper together. We must never make the mistake to get in war with Eritrea. They need us and we need them. War helps no one. We must create an independent Ethiopian nation which can an feed itself; and, of course, abolish the federal system.

Of, course, he fought against Ethiopia. He made Ethiopia landlocked. That is it. He was not the first guy to fight against Ethiopia. Except king Theodrose and king Yohanes the 4th the rest were against Ethiopia and Ethiopian. I do not pray niether way. May God judge him according to his deed. Beka!
