Mike, "Why are they ok with how Muslim dominated countries treat others’ religions?"
Who said we are ok with that? And for that matter, why should Ethiopian Muslims be blamed because of a ruling party in another country? Is it fair to ask such a question while we don't ask you a similar question mentioning some predominantly Christian country (like USA) attacking Muslims? And you said "...Ethiopia has more rights than any Muslim lead government" and my question to you is "Example?". Yes, you made a totally wrong statement.

I usually do not agree with the current leadership's domestic policy but in this case they are correct. If you give a mouse a cookie it will want milk. Just like we should not stand for ethnic divisions we should not want religious divisions. The Muslim population in Ethiopia has more rights than any Muslim lead government. If we followed their religion we will be like Saudi Arabia or something similar where they don’t allow their women to drive, or where churches are not allowed. Why are they ok with how Muslim dominated countries treat others’ religions? Is this fair???

The public should be aware of potentially indisriminate revenge by Muslims after the hot head Woeyanes and malicious Shabias orchestrate such a move. Abraham Debotch and co.'s strike against General Graziani resulted in the deaths of over 5,000 innocents in Addis and another 450, a wipe out, at a monastery. While the good Muslim brothers have awareness, the radicalized ones would seek a bloodshed and try to take an edge.

Because the matter of religious balance is a sensitive political issue, we need to be very careful. My sister converted from orthodox to Muslim religion 8 years ago. We all accepted her and she lives with her three children's . As we love and respect her, we do not want to see her when she dressed up like Arab muslim cove with black cloth showing only her eyes. These is not Ethiopian muslim tradition. We lived for centuries with our muslim brothers and sisters but we never see our muslim people become Arab. We need to keep our culture and tradition. I have a problem with these issue.
We love our Ethiopian muslim and we respect their religion, if we want to be honest we all are not happy about they spreading Arab tradition in our country.

We love our muslim community as Ethiopia Muslim not Arab muslim. Let us live in peace , it is not about government it is about people to people love ,respect and live together. There is a say in English
Never abandon an old friend. you will never find one who can take his place. Friendship is like a wine, it gets better as it grows older.....
As friendship, we need to stick to our tradition and culture when it comes to religion.
