Ethiopian Review wishes a Happy New Year for its readers and all Ethiopians with this song by Teddy Afro, who is currently languishing in jail on trumped up charges by the brutal dictatorship in Ethiopia. Let the New Year bring an end to the vampire regime.

    I hope I will have a good satisfaction this holiday, since I sent some money for some of my neighbors back in Ethiopia along with the family members just at least they could celebrate the holiday by having one chicken per family. At the same time I just sent some money for Ginbot 7 movement via paypal for their accomplishment in the radio show that will start today.

    Now I don’t have to spend a penny for my self , since I am so satisfied , atleast I can go back to sleep smoothly. I would not going to any concerts, shows or party’s to celebrate the holiday as I used to do. Now the game has to be changed and if I need to see the end of the weyane era, I realized that I have to start contributing my potential first. Just because I want or we wish it weyane wouldn’t be removed, but when we step-up and do our part along with the determined leaders of Ginbot 7, we all be accomplishing our task soon. I will continue to do this routine until the weyane criminal groups are removed from Ethiopia.

    Wishing all the best for all non-weyane Ethiopians in this new year and wishing Death to all members and supporters of weyane.

    Year 2002 we all will have the best Ethiopian new year since weyane will be removed before that with the help of almighty God and all of us….lets get up and say enough is enough…….

    I say this. I also pray for the hungry and the destitute who lost their lives on famine and hunger that was created by the misguided land policy of Meles. Because Meles says no to land reform and as a result people are destined to starvation and hunger. Can you imagine people dying of hunger when our country’s potential can feed half the world.

    As a result of this, I always pray for Meles to go. He is a cancer to the poor.

    I will also welcome 2001 with a good hope of better life and good governance. Things change. It is written that people come and go. Derg came in and went with its atrocities. Now it is Woyane’s turn. They came in and and they will have to go.

    We will also remember the “alichaw milinem of 2000″ as a year where Meles danced with his Darling Azeb in public and at a time when life was hard to sustain in Addis, where the cost of one egg went 1.20 birr a piece, and a life which turned most Addis Ababans into beggery.

    We live and Meles also celebrates this new year. As the saying goes we bark as a dog unto the camel[ Meles] but the camel ignores as it strides. But one day [may be in year 2001] the dog will undoubtedly devour the camel and extinct it. There is a time for every thing. Time to be born, time to govern and time to be dead and extincted. Hitler and Derg or Stalin lived short. I pray the life of Meles to be short and limited as could be limited. That is my wish to him for the year 2001. I wish his death from the heart of my hearts.

    As for the rest of the Ethiopian people at large I wish you all a prosperous and happy new year and the gut to stride on in your struggle and topple this vampire regime

  3. I feel sad for Teddy Afro being in jail for the New Year.Well, their is nothing we can do about that because evertime we do rally we are putting him in more complicated stuff, so the best advice is to Pray.
