A man who is suspected of killing an Ethiopian couple in Dallas, Texas, has been caught in Aurora, Colorado, last night.
Abey Belete Girma, who fled from Texas after the Dallas Police has issued an arrest warrant against him for killing Yayehyirad Lemma and Yenenesh Desta, is currently being held at the Aurora Detention Center.
An official of the Aurora Detention Center told Ethiopian Review this afternoon that Abey was arrested on Saturday, August 18, and he is currently awaiting extradition to Texas, where he is facing death penalty if he is found guilty.

The Denver or Aurora police should have alterted the Ethiopian community about this murderer since the Dallas police have notified the Denver and Aurora police that the killer is heading to their area. Not only they didn’t notify the community even after they caught him, which was Friday night not Saturday night as you guys indicated above, there is nothing on the news about this dengrous murderer yet. If the denger was to the white community they would have blasted it all over the news. The Ethiopian Community Should Demand an explanation from the Aurora police why there were not notify about the denger and after he was caught there were lots of people in the area that were nevious and anxious.
I said this before and I am going to say it again. This evil needs to be put on the fryer for what he did. There is no justification for taking other human being’s lives in such a premeditated and well executed murder. It makes the crime even more so heinous when we hear his reason for the murder. They disrespected him? This is what we hear every day from these thugs in the hoods why they kill people. We hear a lot them saying the victims were disrespecting them. Some of us easily forget where we came from and tend to build upon us such so-called pride on crude foundation. We seem to emulate gang life in such a way that we even change our language including the body language. He is going to say ‘I shot them because they were disrespecting me’. Disrespect me what?!!! Out of my sight and to the toaster!!!!

He even ate free food in the victim’s restaurant, infact, they helped him giving a free food and also got him a job , however his jealousy was uncontrolled he is a vicious thug and even he knew the sweet couple had a child, he killed both and make their child lost her parents.I can’t say otherwise he must be demonized. Now, see if he get the respection ,for he claimed to take the lives while this monster is in the maximum security in a prison. We all see when justice prevail for their child and the rest close families also for all of us.
