The death of the demonstrators and the suffereing of his supporters will not be in vain. Why would not an 84 years old man graciously share power and continue to keep his reputation as one of the first liberators for his country?. He is lucky enough that he was not murdered. The next question is, would Morgan Tsvangirai or a future leader sent Mengistu Hailemariam back to Ethiopia to serve his prison term?. Good news! for now.
