Dear Obang,

While reading the article I came across the name “Guji” in the list of the names of the 88 ethnic groups you said have formed the one family. Guji is the integral part of the Oromo people and is not ethnic group by itself. I think you are trying to divide the Oromo people like many pro-Ethiopian-unity politicians. That is dangerous move.Please be carefull when you are dealing with the Oromo case.

And also, I do not presume we have made the one family yet. What we Oromos say is let as negotiate to form one family in a way that fairly benefits all of us.

Dear Obang, thank you for your comment and notice but unfortunately for so many people who claims to be “more Ethiopian” than others, the event in the Ogaden is (at best) used as a political whistle to blow against weyane or (at worest) they could have done the same thing. This group includes the major opposition block i diaspora. Have you ever asked your self why it took three ful years for the major opposition group to condemn the genocide in Gambella? Where were they at that time? why do the started crying after the bodies were changed to dust. But its never late to cocdemn genocide but the intention should not be to get political gain.

Meles is terrorizing everybody especially the minority tribes such as Annuak, Somalis, Gurages and others. The only group that escaped its rage are Adares and Siltes, which used to be Gurages until they sold out to Meles for some crumbs and benefits of collusion.

Since the election, Meles has been especially harsh on Gurages and has been putting them out of business, vitimizing and terrorizing them using Oromo nationals.
I agree with Obang, we need all to unite to stop this potential onslaught and gencocide orchestrated and driven by Meles.

i support ur intiative but i’ve some reservation. if we ve to condemn w ve to do for both the ONLF and woyane. both r killing innocent people who didn’t support their agenda. it is outrageous to hear the they/onlf/ killed inocent civilians and workers in that atrocity. we know woyane is not new to this type of atrocity with his bllod thristy soldiers. so if we r out to condemn let we tell them the reality both r useless gangs who try to get hold of a timely advantage
