Back in the days Ethiopia was a land where Yemenis sought opportunity and protection from persecution. Is this how they are paying us back? How soon they forget!
We may be facing a variety of problems, mostly of our own making, at the moment. The yemenis should realise that the land where once a number of 'Arab biets' owned by them proliferated is still there; the people who welcomed them are still there; the mountains, the lakes, the waterfalls, the rivers and the fertile soil are all there waiting to be exploited once again. What will they say when that time comes and the tide turns the other way around?
On the other hand, Yemen is the same old Yemen. Nothing has changed to make people want to move in and live in Yemen. Ethiopians and others are only using Yemen as a transit point to go work in the currently oil rich nations of Arabia.
The oil wells will dry up and oil will one day be no longer the main source of energy. But, people have to eat and no food grows in Arabia. What will become of them then??
