Congratulations Girma. Way to go. You joined many Ethiopian athletic heroes who made our country proud around the world. We hope your dream of representing the United States in 2012 London Olympic will be realized.

It will be great to run for the United States. The question though is when do we Ethiopians come together and make our country free of the brutal Melese regime which caused untold misery and repression in recent memory.

We need emerging talents and leaders like you to lead the way in clearing our country of the TPLF mess and restore hope and opportunity in Ethiopia. It seems there are few other options left to save the future of that country and of many young talents relinquishing under the TPLF repression, and thousands who fled that country every single day.

I hope to see many more high achieving Ethiopians asking themselves these questions.

As to you Girma, keep up the good work and Congratulations.
