Chat, alchohol, and reckless driving that includes putting cars that wouldn’t pass inspection on the street are causes of the disaster.

  2. Woubishet, CA says:

It is true that reckeless driving has become one of the major factors for the death of many of our compatriots and for the loss of huge amount of money and property. Yet, Woayane’s killings of our peacefull citizens-children, women, young and old- accounts for the lion share of loss of Ethiopians’ life. In fact, history will give its just for the melliunium criminals-Woyane and Meles- in the near future.

Drivers are Khat addicted and the result is like that–loss of innocent lives.
No drug test in Ethiopia for drivers.
Most of the drivers in Ethiopia are in DUI too.
You know in America,no much accident i.e due to
    the tight law enforcement.

To all posters above: How come none of you wish quick recovery for the living and for the dead to be blessed by God. Why rush to putting the blame on the driver while 10,00 or more miles away from the location of the accident?

What a tragic story. Among the dead or wounded could be my relative or relative’s relative. May god bless their souls for the dead and give strength to their families, and wish a quick recovery to the wounded.
“Ethiopia is among countries with highest rate of traffic accident in the world where over 2,000 people die annually in road acciden”. This is very troubling. What can be and should be done to reduce this tragedy? My suspicion is that the driver’s training, licencing and vehicle safety inspection method must have been corrupted. When you have a government that cares less for it own people, the result is all kinds of tragedy.

May God bless the soul of the deceased. But I was wondering that this diabolic man, Elias, does not directly attribute the accident to Woyane.
