I like to drop a line about the speech made by Proffessor Efraim(Shimagle) at the Sheraton Hotel. First of all, I am disappointed that they held the meeting at Sheraton Hotel, but that's just my personal opinion.
The one statement that the proffessor made, which most people have looked over, in my opinion is probably more damaging than the Interhawme speech that Meles made during the election. I quote, "Those who ask for forgiveness are heroes, and those who give it are saints."
Did the professor just called Meles Zenawi a "saint"? He also give the impression that the leaders of the CUD admitted that they tried to take the government doen with unconstitutional means and that they have asked for forgiveness. That is far from the truth.

I like all Ethiopians to be really careful and look beyond the curtain when a public personality makes this type of speech. We tend to overlook these types of statements and they comeback later to bite us. This professor is sounding like agent of the government. Correct me if I am wrong. Power to the People
