Dr Birhanu has a legitimate and a moral right to write a congratulation letter to obama but not the dictator and the bucher Meles. And Meles is jealous on dr birhanu as no one loves the current regieme excebt few hodams

The Woyane clique is very frustrated, to the extent that they are afraid of their own shadows.
Even at the time of the election day in America, Woyane leadership(ruling gangs in Ethiopia)warned the people to be alert for eventually threatning explosion.
All explosions in and around Addis Abeba were conducted by Woyanes secret police called YeAgazi-Agazi.
This was designed to keep the people stay at home afraiding of a sporadic demonstration supporting of the US president -elect Barack Obama. Becuase people were waiting for such historical moment to witness for a CHANGE.
That is why they are interogating journalists as usual.
There will be more ugly things to be conducted by Woyane in the next two months.
I advise the Ethiopian people to be vigilant and restore discipline, not to be easily provoked by Woyane cliques.
Woyanes and their collaborators are transfering money from home banks to abroad, according to insiders. Wheras non-Woyanes are not allowed to use business transactions within the country. Things are going from bad to worse in Ethiopia. Some are preparing passports to leave for foreign countries afraiding of a possible CHANGE in the country.
Generally, the Woyane camp is disturbed.

You reported that the editor and the publisher were charged for ….. while in the same report you put that the senior editor informed you that they were hauled to report to the police.
Where did you get the charge against the publisher and the editor from?
Has Berhanu Nega ever been a mayor?

Wow! This is just breathtaking. How brave our Mayor-elect Dr. Berhanu to write a letter of congratulation to President-elect Obama and dare have it published in Awramba times, a paper in Addis; considering that he himself is sitting safely in Washington, DC.

Now, we all are waiting anxiously, how G7 is going to deliver the final fatal blow to Woyanie, now that it has started the promising volley.

A great sign of frustration! The police state under the leadership of the butcher_Meles Zenawi is on high alert to destroy freedom fighters before it goes down into a dust bin of history. Our people at home should be advised to take maximum care for their lives above all!The aftermath debacle of the 2005 national election shouldn’t be repeated!

The strong news paper in Ethiopia currently is Awramba times.the paper is challenging and headek for the woyane mafia group.as my observation, the journalists who working in awramba times are not under the shade of fear despite they arrested for two years and constantly harrased by security forces.they are the main patriots for FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.
they are really journalists.we Ethiopian people will never forget their favour for ever.
    GO forward Awramba!

  12. Metene says:

It is atrocious and sad if they have done this. I have one question though, with due respect to Dr Berhanu, when was the last time he sat on the mayor’s chair? I am sickened by this mayor thing. The Ethiopian people are all on their own. Well god is with them.

A remark, please guys check your spelling before posting a comment. Typo is acceptable but a complete misspelling is a sad thing.
