Even more concerning is the fact that the Obama Team has put that evil woman Vicky Huddleston, who was so devastating to the interests of the Ethiopian people and democracy, as part of his transition team at the State Department. Ethiopians for Obama have to stand up now and tell the President that we helped elect that this woman will only do further harm to U.S. interests and values of democracy and human rights.

The more I read Ethiopian Review and the more I know you, you seem to be a very unfair person. Previously, I wrote a critcal article about Hillary Clinton's possible appointment to be the Secretary of State and you deleted my article secretly denying me a voice to express my opinion. In 2005, I wrote a very good article about the political situation in Ethiopia and you did not publish my article.

Today, I see you are allowing others to voice their opinions about Hillary's nomination and you allow them to do that while deleting mine.

I am confused about who you are and what you are up to – sometimes democratic and at other times a dictator. I do not know what to make of you any more.

Ethiopians for Obama and all who voted for Obama need to lead a campagn to tell obama to warn miss clinton not to ingore ethiopian plight infavore of Alamoudi's dollar . This very serious issue, if Hilary is nominated for the job, all Meles got to do is ask Alamoudi to place the call and Clinton is in their hand…the mighty dollar is always mighty..I am sad but again Meles got the control of the state-department-

Eliase now it is high time to mobilize the Ethiopians for obama forum, the medrek forum and all ethiopians to keep obama posted on the dnagers on clinton being sec. of state and warn her to refrain from listening to her husband…
sad but we r screwed on this one-Meles has now more leverage than before.

I agree with comments #1 & #2 above. The Clintons [albeit Hillary as a first lady only] have blown up an excellent opportunity to side with the people of the Horn. Except for the usual half hearted lip service, they sided with Weyane and there is no indication that Hillary would change that. But, like Tezibt stated, we just have to deal with our own problems. Let's do it for achange instead of depending on foreign powers!

If Hillary Clinton accepts the offer, it will be a blessing for Woyane. The Clintons were doing business with Woyane during the Clinton administration and since the formation of the Clinton Global Initiative.

Recently, Clinton's global intiative invited Meles (the only African leader to be at the meeting) and Sheik Al Alamoudin paid 20 million dollars towards the intiative. At the time, Melese was doing the ground work for the usual business to carry on in case Hillary is elected president. If Hillary takes the job, it is back to square one for Ethiopia and Melese's business will be as usual. Elias, think about it.
