May be Zimbabweans deserve this. If you know that you are down to the choice of life or death but don’t fight in every way possible to a human being, may be the problem is with you.

It is the same way with us, Ethiopians, too. We deserve all that is happening to us. We sat and watched this government grow and expand over us. We refused to listen to each other…we did not heed the warnings of many who were early victims. And now, most of us love our lives so much that we are only concerned with sustaining it for the short term. We don’t care about our long term security, our children’s and our country as a whole. We only pay lip service to democracy from afar.

We are not fighting; we just give the illusion that we are.
