In Thailand the courts have disbanded the government to take power away from the people. The protesters (backed by the parts of the army, the elite, the royalists and it seems the court) want a partly appointed government, because as they say, the rural people are too stupid to vote.

The courts pay lip service to these protesters by shutting these 6 coalition parties down.

The courts didn&#039;t &quot;have time&quot; to listen to the defendants and had the lengthy verdict ready in 20 minutes.

I&#039;m not claiming that those 6 parties are 100% percent clean or even good at managing the country (no party is, in Thailand), but to claim this is done FOR democracy (&quot;the people are the ultimate bosses&quot;) is just plain wrong.

This is a power struggle between the few rich and the many poor. The courts have sided with the rich, not with the people, not with democracy and not with the law.
