Koster&#039;s comment reminds me this story:

As the saying goes--ignorance is bliss; When we used to express our concerns and fear we had for our brilliant activist and avid reader cousin from being tortured or killed by the government--he used to say how he wished he didn’t know how to read. Unfortunately our fear and warnings came true and he was murdered by that SOB, Menegestu Hailemariam and caused us everlasting pain. My cousin was a straight “A” student from first grade till his last days in college. Menegestu—may you rot in hell along with your friend Meles.</description>
