This is the sad state of Affairs that is not publicized in most African countries, the level of poverty is beyond imagination. There is no way this problem will be solved by charity of foreigners, this issue should be tackled head on by the Ethiopian people and start embarking on asserting their human dignity through internal capacity or they risk becoming perpetual receipients of “aid” from western charitable institutions, these charitable institutions can give you temporary help but it will never ever solve the problem of poverty in Ethiopia. I hope the Ethiopians in the diaspora understand this, work to change the status quo and also learn from the Eritrean experience of self reliance and implement those kinds of policies in Ethiopia to help the country get out of the quagmire it is in.

How sad. How tragic. This is man made tragedy. Which can be resolved with proper governance. This is what it is all about folks. No amount of posturing, and lie can cover this fact we all know too well. Ethiopia remain the poorest of the poor, because we are unable or unwilling to stand together for what is right. Not able to speak against evile. Shame on all of us. We must do something about this.

The more you expose these street kids into world media the more the weyane go after them hunt them down and throw them to some where more difficult than where they are.If you are not sure to how to help this kids please please don’t expose them to the media.Cause they’re lives is in a danger.Remember the government merciless government.It doesn’t care at all.

First of all, it very sad and shame to see horrible pictures like that in 21 century.We ethiopian love to talk and talk but not love to work and suport other who already tried.Instead of suporting, working together with them, we love to critized others.If every one of us does our own part, our belove country would not been faced this kinds of situation. I see you guys blaming the government alone. It is parcially right but not 100 percent.Do not get me wrong this adminstration is the worst one in our generation.i am not great fan of the this blind regime. it is a horrible adminstration. Absolutly no dout about but the people of ethiopia must accountable also and start to get up and work tegether as one.
