..did not listen to Ato Tesfaye's interview, however, as the case is openly announced to go to court through IRS, it is not easy to pass judgement conclusively. I think the so called "corruption" also included mis management ,and initially the auditor him self was appreciative that Kinijit welcomed auditing and it was the first(last summer). At this point, to condemn it as embezzlement or to defend "the corruption" could be premature. According to EMF, the leadership in Addis Ababa has assigned six high level delegates to investigate the “corruption”, and that is a very good sign of leadership and a relief to give the focus a break, and especially give hope to the well understood disappointment of supporters who trusted their contribution for real progress.

Kinijit’s leaders may have been well known, highly guarded and acclaimed by millions before their imprisonment. There are also millions who came to know more about them after their fateful challenge at Kality, and the two years ordeal. As they emerge out of confinement and in practice of their leadership, there are as many who are eager to follow what their leadership is like. They face several challenges, but so far, there is some thing reassuring and progressive about them ,that allows optimism to wish them over come the hurdle.

In any kind of struggle, corruption and corrupters are condemned!! Unfortunetly Sprit world is also abide by the same principle. The High supreme authority will not tolerate people who have a corrupting mind. They will be sorted or clssfied, along with Adulteries, homosexuals, and people who have wicked moral standards. As we heard from the Auditor Tesfaye, the subject is caught red handed. Good for him!! No pardon!! No clemency letter!! For this time Professor Isaac need to take a break!! As the Shalkea and his cohorts will wait their court days, it is also expected that a brave and a courageous leadership of CUDP should release a very sincere and strong condemnation massge , against theses individuals. The Good name of CUDP and its reputation has been severely damaged. This should be a litmus test for the leadership, most of all to its current chairman Engineer Hailu Shawel.. It is my hope that, the Engineer will address this critical issue in his visit to North America, to all the kinigit supporters, and will show zero toleration for any one who is stealing public money. The top priority of the leadership will be to clean the house of kinigit from the jaws of Shaleka and his associates. I hope the Engineer and his close advisers will stand on the side of truth and integrity, along with thousands of honest kinigiit supporters and good wishers around the globe… Many are still asking however, what will happen though, if the likes of individuals like that of Shaleqa and the groups will hold a high public position ? Heavenly father, please save our country from these Cobras!!! AMEN!!

Dear Tesfaye Asmamaw, Elias Kifle & Dawit Kebede.
I have listened to every word you said and discussed on Addis Voice. COM’s radio Interview it is enlightening. It is nice to see the meetings of minds. It is good to turn on the lights on the Cockroaches with dead spirit and learn how they scam the innocent. You see these are wolfs in a sheep skin. I am sure they will burn in hell too.
To complement your did, here is a word of advice.

"REFLECTION" author unknown
Presented by Getachew W. Selassie

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what the man has to say

For it isn't your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass.
The fellow whose judgment counts most in life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

You may be like Jack Horner and chisel a plum
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.

He's the fellow to please. Never mind all the rest
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you pass the most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

You may lead the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass.
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

Dear ER

The interview with ato Tesfaye was an eye opener. How could one man have total control over an organization supposedly governed by an executive committee? Where was the transparency and accountability? I think Tesfaye’s auditing has just scratched the surface. Who knows how much cash, without any paper trail, was embezzled. I hope the IRS and VA tax officials will dig further and fill in the blank. All organizations, civic, religious, political etc. should learn from this and make accountability and transparency part of their organizational culture.

I call upon the released leadership of CUD to take appropriate action after reading the full report and examining all the evidence presented. The first step is to disassociate itself from Shaleka Yosef until the issue is resolved once and for all. It is not in the best interest of the organization to continue business as usual with an individual who stands accused of misappropriation of public funds. Appearance is everything. He will have his day in court to prove his innocence. Second, I call upon the leadership to establish a neutral blue ribbon committee to study the full report, gather additional evidence, hold hearings and present its findings to the membership. Third, I urge the leadership to immediately take control of the financial affairs of the organization and institute an accounting and control system in line with generally accepted accounting principles.

God bless Ethiopia

One thing must be clear

Kinijit is created in Ethiopia by brave and mentally healthy Ethiopians. True Kinijit Leaders and supporters are sacrificing everything including their comfort life, freedom and life, too. Many of them are still doing the same thing at the very moment.

Kinijit as a party was/is not exist neither US nor elsewhere beyond mother Ethiopia. What we call it KNA/KIL/KIC is not a party but a supposed to be trusted and expected to conduct a human job serving Kinijit back home. Brave and smart Kinijit leaders very well calculated and aware of their relationship with so called GOVT and as the result they created this support group in order to the people struggle continues while they were in jail or paid sacrifices in the name of their country and defenceless people.

Yet the trusted support group to facilitate the people struggle became the main obstacle against the struggle and weaken the Kinijit leaders and supporters position back home. What Thief yosef Gizaw and his group have done against Ethiopia at this very crucial time is a difficult one even to describe with words.

Therefore what Ethiopians need to understand is that Kinijit leaders and supporters back home are the worst victims to this criminal group than anybody else as they are in the middle of the people struggle. When this all happened outside the country CUDP leader were/are in a horrible prison, hiding, in exile or being massacred in the name of their party/Ethiopia. Because of the distance, condition or some other issues Kinijit leaders might have made some errors while selecting camouflage individuals such thief yoseph Gizaw. But neither they nor the people associating with these mafia group never ever expected would happen this kind evil act, taking the money collected from generous Ethiopians in the name of poor, weak, injured, imprisoned and killed Ethiopian in the name of freedom and democracy.

Now we identified the cancer(s) that was/were affecting us physically, financially and mentally. From now on they must be treated as dangerous cancers. To reach at this point gives us the happiest day to our relationship with our country. This is the time we all have to come together with new and practical approach to push further the people struggle the next level. We have to be behind CUDP back home more than ever. We have learnt our lesson in a very hard way we will never forget. Learning from the past mistakes and work the better future together is the only option and solution we have. Accusation and counter accusation will serve the Ethiopian people back home nothing but another misery and hard life.

The thief Yoseph and his associates issue need to be finished only after he and his associates locked up in US jail we know how it is the perfect example of hell on earth. Because of criminals and thieves, we must not retreat and being reluctant about our Knijit party that has the doctrine only peaceful struggle has a 100% guarantee and less cost ways to bring better life in Ethiopia. We need each other more than ever. Unity and respect will bring us forward in to the better place.

Elias Kifle, Dawit Kebede and respected Ethiopian Ato Tesfaye must be our examples not disgraced individuals such as Thief Yoseph and his likes. We must continue together to reach somewhere together.

I don't think these is a standard way of reporting Audit findings. Please don't exhgurate things. How much is un authorized expenditure, how much needs additional justification, how much is un accounted for. I may tell you one example, you may buy a car from a private dealer at a cost of $10,000.00 with out proper proceduer, and have no good reciving notes attaced. The auditor may idendtified as an irrigularity. But it is not mean that this money is taken to individual pocket. Like travel to Keney, Bill to Hotel, etc. are not good example to show miss appropration. Please don't exhagurated things we do have more things to do .... Focus on establishing system don't point finger on individuals. One other important issue is cash collection, the mistake is for the individuals who give money without reciveing reciept don't shift responsiblity to others take yourself too...

Thanks

Thanks Elias and Dawit to expose the interigue.

I love Kinijit, but this time all my trust is going to vanish. So do most supporters, I believe. Two questions are klicking frequently in my mind. If CUDP have taken the responsibility to lead the country, imagine how many Feudals and old gangerins were around us to loot and suck our blood in the name of CUDP. Secondly, as a party CUDP was not in a capacity to lead a country as we can see the mess from North america. It is a party with no clear by-laws, where every one twist it to any direction for his ego, it is a party linked with ''BE AMECHA, BEGABECHA, BEMETEWAWEKE, BETEKEME ASADAJOCH''not by principles. When are we going to be free from these old FEUDALTEBAYOCH WHO SUCKED THE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE FOR MORE THAN 100YEARS, HAGERACHEWEN BE BIRR SISHETU KENEBERU YEDERGE WOTADEROCH, YEPOLETIKAW AKAHEDE KETEFABACHEW EPRP MEMBERS etc---. The CUDP leaders have two choices either to lead us in a democratic and prinicipled way by exposing all these mess to the public that it will never happen again or to leave us.

Yep, that seems to be the end of Thief Yosef Yazew. He is going down not to return back. Dr Taye and the rest should distance themselves as quickly as possible.

bye bye Thief Yosef Yazew. From now on that is how you will be adressed--with your new title: Thief. No more Shaleqa. Here is the new title in Amharic:

Adegegnaleba Yoesf Yazew
Adegegna leba Moges Brook

Tebabari leba Bezabih
Tebabari leba ???(the other guy)

Achberbari leba Taye WoldeSemayat

The thief is captured

We knew all along there was something serious going on inside KNA/KIL. We were hungry, desperate and angry to know the truth about. Now the truth came out with very unbelievable story and that hurts deeply.
Shaleqa of what? Thieves. This experienced daylight ‘Thief Yoseph Gizaw’ behavior is not started one or two years a go. Stealing must be his entire life achievement he became shaleqa as a result in the thief world. We must not take time even to breath before he and his associates punished for the rest of their life in US jail. The evidences are there. Respected, skilled and true Ethiopian individuals such as Ato Tesfaye, Lawyers and others are more than enough to clean the thief Yoseph Gizaw types from the Ethiopian community in US and elsewhere.

Radio stations such as Addis dimts and the likes and some internet sites that had close contact with so called KIC need to go back immediately and make an interview with Dr. Taye to make his position clear that weather he knew or not about Thief Yoseph crime before he joined him? I still have respect to Dr. Taye for his long contribution to Ethiopia. I feel Thief Yoseph and his group lied to him to use him covering their crimes. We also want to know why the so called shimagles (the Bezabeh group) behaved the way they did despite they knew about the thief Yoseph’s crime.

No Prime Minister, No Billionaire, No thief or anyone else acting beyond the human dignity is immune to the Elias Kifle’s truth, honesty and hard work. Elias Kifle deserves appreciation and apology from many of us that we criticized him in this regard. We want mothers like Elias’s mother having twins every 9 months if the child becomes the same as Elias does. He sells his professionalism, integrity, dignity and his human conscious for nothing even you give him billions of dollars. Shame to other weak and domestic animal Type journalists looking always subjective matter rather than objectives as their job is demanding for.

Thanks to Elias. You teach us a lot. In the future we way continue criticizing you. But don’t take it as personal. At the end you will beat us as you did with the thief Yoseph’s case.

We respectfully ask you to spread you wing beyond the Atlantic Ocean and bring us the truth about what is going on in London, and other cities in Europe concerning the collected money in the name of poor and killed Ethiopian.

Thanks ER and EMF for the wonderful job you did in exposing the corrupt individuals in Kinijit. Kinijit must cleanse itself off such corruption, or will risk losing popular support. I am also proud of Ato Tesfaye. He seems to be a very honest, sincere, professional person. He should be Ethiopia's Attorney General. He is the kind of person who would work to root out corruption from Ethiopian politics and bureaucracy.

Elias,

It is strange that some contents of the audit report is out in public before it is submitted and perused by by the CUDP leaders in Addis Ababa who were in jail only a few days ago. Please exercise caution and give time the top leadership of CUDP to pronounce themselves on several matters of paramount importance. CUDP is one hope Ethiopians have got to stem the destruction of the EPRDF regime.

Elias and Dawit!

God job! I was following all the news about Shalqa Yosef and his co. I was wondering why KIC was not dissolving itself like KIL after they got the official letter from the chairman. Yes, they should not because they want to cover this thing forever.

It very sad to know that Dr. Taye is hijacked by this group. If he will not resign within few days, I will be forced to think the worest that he wanted to be part of this drama. I am hoping that he is smart enough to know this. It is really shame.

Elias:
Don't be foolish. Your political game has been exposed since long time ago. What is happening there inside Kinijit USa is their problem. It is not yours. If you hate Kinijit then go away and be a member of ONLF and OLF. We know you are for these organizations. Time will come to expose yours side too.

Be wise.

Well done ER. It is that kind of reporting corruption independently in government and opposition, that can shame and expose all parasites who go to politics for sucking common resources dry and out. Holding all public office occupants to account, keeping all organisational finance in transparency, and erecting a strong and solid foundation of good governance in opposition parties will enhance the chance of good government in future.

Keep on but give every report its weight. Never turn your eyes off where the bulk of corruption is. That is the government, central and regional. After all they are trusted with our national treasury.

Dr. Moges Gebremariam, Berhane Mewa, Andargachew Tsigie, Dr. Gebrye Wolderufael, Daniel Aseffa, and Dawit Kebede, I think these people are partly responsible for what happen. Why they didn’t ask, investigate, complain or do whatever it takes to expose this corruption. After, hell break lose you guys seems like saying “we didn’t know” , which is not the answer. Any way our leaders in Ethiopia should start to work hard to gain the confidence many Ethiopian who give their hard earned money to CUDP

In the past, the most bothersome part was your calculative timing that may not necessarily have favored kinijit. As an investigative type journalist you could be, may not be advised to refrain from a branch of your profession.

-Doesn’t the auditor have a responsibility to make his official report in the presence of what ever committee was assigned to look over the investigation?.
-Why did the auditor go to the most antagonistic Ethiopain media duos who had openly been fierce and bitter critiques of Shaleka Yoseph?. His integrity seems partial.
- The same duo have been very much a part of the recently dissolved KIL
- ER and EMF have their varying degrees of journalism that can be appreciated and other times detested. In this political climate, there seem to be no more Ethiopian objective journalism. Specially web media seems to be divided into pro regime/ at times extremely anti opposition, OR pro democracy/ at times extremely anti regime.
-The internal division of the CUD dispute had obviously felt the test of the fourth force/power/state of Democracy, and some times to its on determent, and other times to its benefit. How much role should it play in affecting the party’s direction as CURRENTLY partial profession with in CUD’s division?.

-KIL dissolved itself
-HR 2003 is dead
-Corruption engulfing Kinijit exposed further.
-Obstacles facing Kinijit and possible solutions

All of the above have been ER’s news HEAD LINES with in a week.

KIC and KIL are more or less inclusive of each other, unless some thing major has taken place behind the scene. It was a clear directive to add 11 people to KIL’s 12 members and name it KIC instead of KIL. All political maneuver and power struggle aside, it looked that simple. The directive was before the chairman and 37 others were released. Thank God that they are released. KIL was headed to be dissolved any way. If the chairman of the party and high level delegates will be heading to North A., why not leave it to them for now and may be focus on the release of the remaining political prisoners and of course with out closing your eagle eye on Kinijit.

The most honorable and believable way for the auditor was to submit the report to the observing parties, including the leadership in Ethiopia first before it reaches the media AT THIS CRITICAL TURNING POINT..
