Assassinating is a good idea, however, what needs to be sure is who you are going to replace, the people are so divided thanks to Weyane.

Tecola Hagos is a tyrant supporter, how about assassinating his best friend Meles Zenawi, instead of talking about Hitler and all other past tyrants? <b>Tecola, first kill Meles Zenawi,</b> then we will believe what you have to say.

Tazabi,

The Japan professor is right. Africans have very low IQ. They are close to wild animals than healthy human. The question is who are those Africans? Are they all Africans? NO.
One example is Mr. Tecola. IQ doesn't measure by doing or not doing things. But by doing the right thing on the right time. The Africans are doing lots of bad things against each other that lead them the way they are living today.

Tecola is saying about a Dictator referring meles, once Tecola himself was the TPLF spokesperson and representative all over the world while they were in the bush. Because of his assistance TPLF got power, Eritrea is gone and Ethiopia became landlocked while she is the oldest country in Africa that has always a see and as well as an ocean coast before colonialism arrived in Africa.

What Tecola doesn't get it is the most Ethiopians do trust meles than any Diaspora including him. The Ethiopian people need right now a leader like Meles. Because there is no one around better than him. Can any one could imagine how it would be if that dead KINIJT was taking power? Let alone ruling the country, they even became unable to keep Kinijit that many Ethiopians died for it. Instead they became enemies among each other and went each ones way again to cheat Ethiopians by having different names they call it “party”.

As long as he is continuing correcting the Mistakes EPRDFF has made intentionally or unintentionally and delivers positive steps forward, Meles will be the leader. Diasporas can cry for nothing. They barked like dogs for the last 4 years. The result is Kinjit is gone and the people hope for change is dashed.
Is Tecola going to kill meles or is he trying to use others to die for his evil thinking? If he is really a man of his word, he has to do it by himself. Talking about it on the Internet is just barking about something because of he has nothing else to do.

Based on the assessment on the ground, EPRDF will be the Ethiopian party for many many years to come. Meles also will be the leader for years to come. This is the reality; Diasporas have to deal with it. Their impact back home in a negative way is also gone. They are already exposed to the Ethiopian people that they are the Enemies not the Solution. Diasporas are the ones played big roles to the disappearance of kinijit. I feel sorry to Birtukan who became victims of Diasporas evil act towards the Ethiopian internal situation. But she will pay the price. I’m not optimistic and I don’t see any reason to release her from prison. It seems she is there according to the law she crossed badly.

Death is for everybody. But what I wish for Meles is the ultimate humiliation in the history of Ethiopia. Shave his head with the same rather blade that the woyannes shaved the innocent Ethiopians, then tie the SOB and put him in the cage like wild animal in the middle of Merkato where everybody can see, then let every parent who lost children and children who lost parents or anyone who have been tortured by woyannes--spit and pee on Meles from sun rise till sun down for a week. Let him sit in his own waste material and be humiliated and let him beg for mercy till the good Lord take him out. By the way do not forget to torture him the same way innocent Ethiopians have been tortured. Amen!!! It feels good, doesn’t it?

One should take everything Mr. Hagos writes with a great deal of suspicion. Mr. Hagos' stand on many issues that are very deterimental to the health of Ethiopia is at best against the interest of the Ethiopian people. I have read many long articles by Mr. Hagos and it used to puzzle me how such a well-educated person is engulfed in confusion but now, if I read his writings at all, it is just for amusement. There are moments when I am in total agreement with his ideas such as this one, but most of the time, his thoughts are all over the place. It should be noted that Mr. Hagoes was in cahoot with meles Zenawi during the early days of the Woyane rule before he fell into disfavor and forced to flee the country.

Dear Tezibt,

You really came on time to comment on this man's mantra not to confuse the already confused public with so many mob mentality politicians, unfortunately including
this misguided lady with her childish behaviour. Actually the article is moving any opposition group and embrace the writer as their hero, but check his latest
article on the current situation at his website: "Open Letter to the Brave Warriors of Ethiopia Returning Home From Somalia, By Tecola W. Hagos, January 5, 2009
http://www.tecolahagos.com/brave_warriors.htm is a good prove that this misguided and self centered man is the same old egoist who cannot see beyond his
self interest and infested with full of hatred and envy.

Cheers

elias,

do you know the current status of tekola after the aftermath of 2005 election?

Tekola has changed to his racist mind that assumes that amahara is the enemy of tigirans mentality. What a shame of him as a scholar, this is what we call a racist mind is a rapped mind that would not learn from actual experiences.

Tekola is one of the tigrians racist elite that has been attacking amaharas for the crime that they never done.

shame on tekola and racist peple

Mr. Tacola Hagos sounds like an anarchist, this is what people mean when they say western education is no guarantee to wisdom. This guy with all the education in the world couldn't figure out that assassinating a single person wouldn't make a difference when trying to destroy an entrenched apartheid system in Ethiopia. Killing Melles by one individual or a few anarchists would only make the crisis worse, give the TPLF more sympathy from its masters and worsen the suffering of the Ethiopian people under Woyanne.

The only way to destroy such a regime is by deliberate means, using superb organization of the people inside and outside the country, achieving unity among all the desparate groups and ethnicities and yes paying the price with blood and sweat of the young, that is the only way to restore justice and freedom in Ethiopia, it is not an easy taks and requires a determined, smart and wise leadership inside Ethiopia and confronting the corrupt Woyanne regime head on. Assassinating a single individual is nothing but an act of anarchism and terrorism. Wake up Mr. Tacola, stop instigating a few frustrated young Ethiopians into commiting a single terrorist act while dealing a bad setback to the struggle for freedom and justice in Ethiopia.

Presdent Isayas call for unity with ethiopia

http://www.eastafro.com/Post/2009/01/06/tplf-regime-heading-to-ultimate-demise-president-isaias-underscores-shabait/

TPLF regime heading to ultimate demise, President Isaias underscores - Shabait

Asmara, 6 January 2009 - In continuation of the interview he gave to the national media, President Isaias Afwerki said that despite attempts to prolong its stay in power through securing various types of external subsidy, the TPLF regime is heading to ultimate demise. He underscored that the regime’s political line characterized with the policy of divide and rule over the Ethiopian people continues to be exposed from time to time.

Indicating that the TPLF adopted the so-called Federal Constitution in 1995 in a bid to serve its narrow twin-purpose scheme, as well as prolong its stay in power, the President pointed out that it not only gave the existing natural differences in the country an institutional shape but also deepen them. The growing animosity and political, as well as armed opposition against the regime in various Ethiopian regions, including Tigray, is an outcome of such a reality, he elaborated

President Isaias went on to explain that following rejection by the Ethiopian people as a result of falling hostage to its own political line, the TPLF regime resorted to the policy of seeking external support. The fact that the regime became the servant of the US Administration is an ample proof of that, which nonetheless exposed the regime to even worse situation in every aspect, he added.

The President further noted that the Ethiopian economy is moving from bad to worse due the fact that the regime from the outset embarked on controlling and plundering the country’s economy rather than promoting economic development. In this respect, he pointed out that at a time when a quarter of the Ethiopian population is suffering from famine, the TPFLF regime’s claim as if the country has registered economic growth is but sheer joke.

As regards the Eritrean-Ethiopian border issue, President Isaias underlined that the TPLF regime has been totally defeated and that the issue has undoubtedly reached legal conclusion. He asserted that although the regime in pursuit of its narrow interests sought to foment animosity between the people of Eritrea and Tigray, the people and Government of Eritrea, provoked by the regime’s perpetration of crisis and obstacles, did not at all manifest animosity towards the Tigrayan people. The President declared that as both peoples are destined to coexist together, relations with the people of Tigray would play significant role in fostering sound relations and mutual prosperity in the future between the people of Eritrea and Ethiopia as a whole. He further asserted that Eritrea’s relations with all political forces in the region, including that of Ethiopia is aimed at creating conducive ground for promoting peace and cooperation at the regional level.

On Djibouti’s current smear campaign and the declaration of war against Eritrea on the part of the country’s President, President Isaias reiterated that Eritrea would under no circumstances engage in squabbles and that it sees no reason to resort to war. “We would only like to tell them: you have declared war and you have a debt,” he stated.

Regarding the TPLF regime’s invasion of Somalia, the President underlined that the subsequent massive acts of destruction to life and property the regime committed in that country by far exceed the atrocities perpetrated by the Haileselassie and Mengistu regimes. In this respect, he pointed out that the two-year old invasion did not bear any outcome other than destruction and utter failure. President Isaias further cited the huge inhumane crimes committed against the Somali people, about which the world media did not give due coverage owing to the pressure applied by Washington. And as such, both the TPLF regime and the US Administration are liable to face justice for these enormous crimes, he underscored. The President stated that Eritrea has the obligation and trust to play due role towards restoring normalcy to Somalia and promote peace in the region.

Concerning Sudan, President Isaias said that Sudan is currently at the cross roads due to complicating external interference. He also stressed that as Sudan’s engulfment in endless turmoil would not benefit its people, Eritrea and the region as a whole, the Eritrean government has not only been involved in constructive engagement but also advocating the need for extending the necessary support to Sudan so that it may not fall into such a scenario. The President further affirmed that Eritrea would continue to work for the benefit of the people of both countries and the region.

Commenting about the so-called Sana’a Forum, President Isaias stated that the game is being played by the TPLF alone and that Sudan and Yemen have only nominal presence in it. He added that the whole affair is not only a manifestation of the regime’s illusion and total bankruptcy but also represents one of its failed foreign strategy.

http://www.eastafro.com/Post/2009/01/06/tplf-regime-heading-to-ultimate-demise-president-isaias-underscores-shabait/

TPLF regime heading to ultimate demise, President Isaias underscores – Shabait

Asmara, 6 January 2009 – In continuation of the interview he gave to the national media, President Isaias Afwerki said that despite attempts to prolong its stay in power through securing various types of external subsidy, the TPLF regime is heading to ultimate demise.

WHAT? DID YOU SAY ASSASSINATION? WE DIDN'T HEAR YOU Mr. Tecola Hagos! We the Ethiopian people has been the victms of assassination and killing by the group you have been part of. As far as we know, the Ethiopian people don't think assassinating, killing, and jailing your opponent would bring Freedom, Justice, and Democracy to our country. Are you watching the news lately? even in Africa, peaceful transitions of power and governance are taking place, take for example, Ghana. Mr. Tecola Hagos why don't you tell us what you did to bring Freedom, Equality, and Democracy to the Ethiopian people while you were one of them who still suppressing Ethiopia? I don't think there is any. I promise you and individuals like you who are opportunist and greedy, who brought sufferings will face justice when the time comes. Bailout after you did the damage will not get you any immunity for what you and your fellow gangs did to our people and country! Did you know the term " THERE IS NOTHING FOR FREE" it is even much more in politics!

The four Gangsters- Zenawi, Bereket, Sibhat and Siyum are simply generational enemies of the horn. For me a patriot is one who can stop and disable the undefined and unlimited destructive act of these four Gangs.

They always think how to stay in power for a long time by any means.

All Ethiopian, despite our differences should join EPPF and Ginbot 7!

In my humble opinion what the looter, killer, deceiter, backstabber, lier, and above all self centered Legesse Z. and his accomplices deserve is not assasin BUT HE/THEY must face the justice of the horn of Africa and particularly Ethiopians, Somalians, Eritreans, and Tigriyans. What these thugs did to the greatest community of the horn of Africa are unforgivable and for that let justice take its own course; we have had too much killing already in our region; lets the region have a new beginning: a new era of mutual respect, peace, trade of knowlegde, trade of technology, exchange of goods and services, and after all there are not much of difference between the greatest communities in the horn of Africa; but before hand Legesse Z., Azeb Mesfin, Seyoum Mesfin, Mebrahtu G/hiwot (aka Bereket Simon), and their Eritrean masters/advisors must be brought to the court of law! PEACE TO ALL OF US IN THE NAME OF GOD

This is an excellent writing that doesn't pertain to the issue at hand. I can see that Mr. Hagos is a well acomplished intellectual but he seems to echo the same degrading racist analysis by the ignorant Japanese Professor from London school of economics who said that africans have low IQ. Again Mr. Hagos is using the same tone in rediculing the africans haveing a slave mentality. Now I can only blame the brainwashing of the western countries universities. Because this writer is one of us and he loves his country but he, instead of picking up the parts of knowledge that is good to help his country, he is lost in the knowledge. Actually that is the same exact reason why most educated Ethiopians have caused their country a catastrophe and in the process most have also perished. We the younger generations have no one to look up to. We may have to jump one generation back to pick up pieces of our being that is left over from the 1974 revolution. Greek, Roman, Persian and so on civilizations and quoting them may show that a person has read western books very well. But that does guarantee the person is brainwashed, at least in the educated Ethiopians mind. First, this type of education makes an Ethiopian arrogant, second, it brainwashes us to believe that we are just a piece of shit. Third, this brings no solution or result to the country. The main purpose of western intelligencia is to convince one to believe that he or she is worthless. One can read this eloquent writer's view. The most important stuff, most who post comments or analysis should know that a thesis like paper that is long will rarely be read by the majority of Ethiopians. Please make it shorter and to the point. I see this paper as one of the few well written papers but too long for most Ethiopians who want to have a quick look at ideas.
This is what really got me about Mr. Hagos. "At any rate, this act of tolerance for despots might explain why Africans are suffering violations of their human and political rights at the present time under persistently abusive governments. I am risking here the fact of being labeled as a racist; however, such is not the case." So do the Germans with hitler, the cubans, the russians with putin, the chilians with Pinoche, the americans with bush, etc... did not remove tyranical leaders because they had or have african blood. Does the writer know the extent of murder and torcher committed on the africans by colonialists. Does he know the amount of money looted from africans and the amount of money being spent to suppress their struggle, to alter their culture(a good example is president wilson of U.S. in 1915 talked about how the culture warfare or exporting american culture is succeeding)and to divide them. This doesnt include some rumours that we all read. Our bright intellectual seems to write out of frustration rather that a rational thinking or or he is swimming in the ocean with our a GPS.
