Human Rights Watch accuses Meles of war crimes

January 16th, 2009 |  |  4 Comments

In its January 2009 report, Human Rights Watch accuses Meles Zenawi’s regime in Ethiopia of war crimes and assault on civil society:

The Ethiopian government’s human rights record remains poor, marked by an ever-hardening intolerance towards meaningful political dissent or independent criticism. Ethiopian military forces have continued to commit war crimes and other serious abuses with impunity in the course of counterinsurgency campaigns in Ethiopia’s eastern Somali Region and in neighboring Somalia. This is not a comprhensive report indeed. it didn`t explicitely mention about the illegal re-arrest of Birtukan Midekisa who is most popular by the main dominant ethinc groups in Ethiopia (oromo & Amhara) as well as the Kangaroo-court drama against teddy Afro.

It is about time that the butcher of Addis and Mogadishu has gotten the attention of Human Rights Watch!!!

This is great news for all freedom loving people of Somalia and Ethiopia. It may take time, but Meles and his gang of criminals will finally pay for the crimes they committed on helpless, innocent people of Somalia and Ethiopia.

    Hail Freedom!
