It was 25 years ago today that the famous Ethiopian writer and journalist, Baalu Girma, was abducted by the military junta (Derg) in Ethiopia. He hasn’t been heard from since, but his legacy continues.

It is an exellent idea. Good news, I loved Baalu’s writings. I broke down in tears when I heard brutal Mengistu had him killed. I could not open this website. I just would like to donate some money in his memory.

Mengistu is brutal but I suspect if he is responsible. We would have known by now if he was responsible. It sounds like the security chief and people like that could know or could be responsible for this. Just a thought.
