I think the problem lies on the relationship between Ethiopia and Eritrea. The two countries need to make peace. If the western countries continue to support Ethiopia because they think it is a Christian country and distance countries like Eritrea then it is more dangerious to Ethiopia than any other scenario. Ethiopia need to revise its starategy towards its neigbours before it becomes worse. Things will change fast and Ethiopia will be the first to burn.

We all know that Somalia has turned into a failed state a long time ago and surrounded by corrupt and undemocratic governments. But I question the intention of this writer. He shows so much fanaticism in his dealing with the matter that he has all the indications of a messenger. He might have been given a lucrative assignment by his buddies in Brooklyn. Their eyes are not really on Somalia. Because they know it is too much a mess there. Their stinking nose and eyes are on the untapped region north and west of the mejertin. I am telling you they will not rest until they get a firm hold of the area south, east and possibly west of the so-called 'Finfine'. All of a sudden, he becomes a champion of human rights. If so, why doesn't he write about the killings of innocent civilians by Hamas which hurls aimless rockets on a most civilized settlement in the Middle East? This guy is one of those brick heads who like to complain about and trash USA. To him an alike, USA is inertly destructive and anti-human. He is trying to emulate some those leftist thugs like Abby Hoffman and others. They like to sit around and write and write trashing the good old USA. Thank God oil prices are going down.
Someone should tell him to get a job.
