March 5th, 2009 |  |  6 Comments

Asmara (allAfrica.com) – A defecting Ethiopian police officer who arrived here recently said that the Woyanne (Tigray People Liberation Front) regime is stepping up its divisive ploy aimed at instigating conflict among various ethnic groups to prolong its stay in power.

Chief inspector of the south western Jimma federal police, Hussein Osman, stated that the regime is fomenting animosities among the ethnic groups under various guises so as to suppress any opposition of the Ethiopian people. It is particularly committing grave atrocities against members of the Afar ethnic group, he added.

The chief inspector pointed out that a number of TPLF regime soldiers, including high-ranking officials, are abandoning the regime opposing its divisive and racist policy.

Indicating that the budget allocated for the Afar zone is being robbed by the regime’s officials for their own personal interests, the defecting officer explained that members of the ethnic group who raise questions regarding the issue are being subjected to inhumane atrocities.

Hussein Osman who joined the Tigrean People’s Liberation Front in 1978 and rose the ran of officer arrived in Eritrea opposing the TPLF regime’s divisive ethnic policy and the atrocities it commits against the Ethiopian people.

One more thing about those ethiopian officers allegedly defecting to Eritrea. May be they were victims of the rigorous evaluation the ethiopian government has put in place to assess its forces as system of wiping out individuals with some impropriety and getting stronger as a result.

Elias you ought to ascertaing if he was already made redundant following the review.

I guess, it is better to be late than never. Thank God that this man’s conscience finally got a hold of him. I wonder how many innocent Ethiopians he had killed before his conscience woke him up to realize. May the blood he has spilled and the lives of so many he has taken give him nightmares for the rest of his life.

The defection of Army officers can shorten and indded makes the rule of the racist and divisive regime history.
As the defector is a former member of the TPLF,his statement and testimony are more credible than the others.Inspector Hussein made a good decision, others should follow suit.

A Satan uses its devilish-imps then devours them when it likes. This latest defector has made the right judgement unlike others who would live to serve the devil(Weyane) until they are devoured by the insatiable appetite of evil Satan, Weyane.
Weyane is a Satan in flesh & deed. Its days are numbered.
