Actually Nerayo is wrong as you (Guru) are too …both of you are missing 3 zeros. So in percentage, assuming 1 seedling per 2 sqm will give about 0.021 %.
=> perhaps it is true…

Assuming Nerayo’s data is correct, the area covered by by the seedlings (assuming 1 seedling in 2 sq m) is

(470,000,000)/2 = 235,000,000.

Let this be x percentage of the total area (in sq meter) of Ethiopia. Then,

235, 000, 000 = X*1, 104, 300, 000

or,

x= 21.3%

Although Nerayo’s claim that “you would cover 40% of the country” is wrong (you can cover only 21 %), his conclusion that Seyoum Bereded’s statement is a lie is still valied.

Do your calculations!
The area of Ethiopia is about 1,112,000 square kilometres, which is equal to 1,112,000,000,000 meter sqare area. You are missing three zeros in the figure. This shows that you are dump in everything...
