Ethiopia is a country with which we have very long ties, and have, in recent years, developed a very close working relationship on a number of important issues. This could be diplomacy. However, it is her husband Bill Clinton who is in bed with Weyane. Him and Blair called Melese African Renaissance. Bill Clinton is also buddies with AlAmoudi. In return of lack of democracy in Ethiopia, Bill Clinton got money for his foundation. I wonder if the foundation is doing what it is supposed to do. I don't think it is a credible foundation. On the other hand, Carter's Habitat for Humanity is very credible.

I urge you to look at the big picture, American foreign policy stays the same no matter who is president at a given time. We Eritreans learned that lesson a long time ago, in 1952 the then US secretary of state said that; from the stand point of justice and human rights the Eritrean people deserve the right to determine their future but for the sake our interests in our region we prefer Eritrea to be under the Ethiopian emperor.

Ever since then the US foreign policy never changed, the only reason they accepted Eritrea's independence was because the Eritrean people achieved their independence with their muscle, even then the democratic Clinton administration used Woyanne's narrow minded policy and pushed Woyanne to invade Eritrea in 1998, then played peace maker when Woyanne couldn't defeat the Eritrean people 2000, after them the Bush and now Obama administrations haven't stoped their desire to defeat the will of the Eritrean people, the only reason they haven't tried another military adventure is because they couldn't find another regime to invade Eritrea on their behalf and their only hope Woyanne is weak inside Ethiopia.

The lesson to be learned for the Ethiopian people from this action by Hillary is that the Ethiopian people can't expect justice to be served on their behalf by the US or any other foreign power, it rests squarely on the Ethiopian people to determine their destiny, that's the only time any foreign power will respect the Ethiopian people.

Who do you think is playing the decisive role of the 'king maker' in Ethioipia ? Certainly, Haile is an easily persuadable and weak personality, and weyane has also mucho disposable coins to grease any deal that prolongs its stay in power. But, it is the State Department/ American embassy in Addis who is in complete control and who would primarily want brute weyane to appear legitimate by putting tremendous pressure on the opposition to join the fake elections.

One should not be surprised at the audacity of Hillary 'to stand by her man' , Seyoum, and mock Ethiopians. Let's not put all the blame on Obama/Hillary though, the comatose Ethiopian opposition bears the more significant blame too. Never mind the widely sought armed struggle option, the handicapped Ethiopian opposition appears so neutered by US/weyane joint efforts to even mount a decent and peaceful protest to what is currently happening in Ethiopia. Friends of Ethiopia just hope that the opposition springs to action and put an end on all this public prtensions exhibited in the Seyoum-Hillary meeting.

Hillary Clinton does not like Ethiopia, she is only protecting her nest egg. Her husband is raking over a $100 million from his Glabal fund, and its head quarter is in Addis. The more Ethiopians get sick while Weyane stays in power the higher the profit it is for Clinton's global fund. Why would she jopardize that lucrative income by caring for Ethiopian children or Somali children??? If I were assigned with such a huge responsibilities, I too would have done the same, we are talking about a godamn $100 million plus annual income folks

I do not want be judgmental here, I would do what she is doing.
