Eritrean TV vs Sudanese TV vs Ethiopian TV vs Djibouti TV

Postby Silk Da Shocker » 23 Oct 2010, 23:39

Why is it that Eritrean TV so far ahead of Ethiopian TV in terms of graphics, news, professionalism, picture quality, sound, and programs? Ethiopian TV reminds of a bad green screen youtube channel, while Eritrean TV looks very professional. Every one seems to agree that Eritrean TV is the most professional African channel in the horn region. The only channel that comes close to Eritrean TVand may even surpass it is the Sudanese channel of ashorooq, which is owned and operated by Egyptians. Sudan has 8 channels, while Eritrea has 2 channels.

You be the judge and see for yourself:

Eritrean TV
Djibouti TV
Sudanese TV (government owned)
Ethiopian TV

I have asked my self the same question over and over again and no one seems to give me satisfied answer. and lets be honest here...Sudan Tv news is the leader in the horn region when it comes clarity of picture, not to mention graphic, while Eritrean comes the second...while Ethiopian and Djoubuti tv comes last because of bad quality picture not to mention poor graphic design....I call both tv stations for Local Tv. In Particular Ethiopian tv staffs should be ashamed of their arse, the organization is one of the oldest state instutiton yet it is fucccccccccccccking poor.

You'd be surprised to know that Eritrean TV is the number one most watched TV in Ethiopia. Children in Tigray spend a considerable amount of time remained glued to TV sets watching Eritrean children programs despite some narrow-minded parents' objections.

Eritrean TV is living up to its slogan: Serving The Truth.

Sudan TV (government owned) is painful to watch. It's too political, too boring...it's geard for the senior citizens. Sudan's Egyptian owned Ashorooq however is slightly better than Eri-TV. I speak Arabic very fluently, so I switch back and forth between Ashorooq and Eri-TV. Ashorooq actually shows more Eritrean programs than it does on their own countrymen of South Sudan or the darfur. No doubt though, Ashorooq and Sudan TV both have the better quality both in picture and in sound, it's just Eri-TV makes what it lacks in picture and sound to those channels via great programs.

Here's my list:

1) Ashorooq
2) Eri-TV
3) Eri-TV 3 (coming soon)
....everything else is too dull to mention.

Sudan's Ashorooq TV is the best in east Africa + Sudan's Blue Nile TV has also very excellent graphics! Sudan TV channel has also strong graphics but its too boring + its full of songs, the Sudanese parliament is complaining about this issue demanding a total refreshment of the channel.
