Finot-
the main theme of the interview is rather astonishing, the so called father of TPLF without any shame declared that any force that opposes or dares to touch the freedom of eritrea will be dealt with with TPLF's muscle or to put is word by word...TPLF will not stand its hands tied back while the eritrean freedom is tampered with....he added , even at this no war no peace situation, TPLF still belives in the democratic nature of the eritrean cause...
he even went further saying even shabia itself did try to compromise the eritrean independence in its past attempt to deal with derg...
to sump up, he was acting more catholic than the pope , i.e, more eritrean than Issaise afewerki himself?...
I am sure this interview will raise eye braws among tigrayan opposition circles led by aregawi and the vocal radio host abeba hailemariam:-) watch the comedy circle unfolding:-)

Even if this is only politics, I still do not like it.
Thus, for a reason, after listening to it I went like,
"" Abiet ye Abesha drqina kkkkkkkkkkkkk awqew enadalaweqalu , endezeng qex bilo medreq qqqqqqqqqqqq saq-besaq lihun qqqqqqqqqqq libel, weys lalqis?????????????????????????- :(
Yibel !Yibel! yibel! aboy sebu-ha-Atu endefelegachew yibelu, libel ?
kkkkkkk. wechew gud - eyadere qusil. Fock it!! Gin , gin lenegeru enji, drow'nm eko , medreq ende abesha mexafex ende Qi'msha, teblo'wal !
Miskin Hagerawyan - ende eniew aynetu ena begeza erasiew - ezi bekentu endareqalen . kkkkkkkkkkkkk gud eko ne'w!
Yenat hod , Zingurgur yale guramayle neger ne'w . T''kikelegna ababal ne'w. ""

Whatever da case, for now , I'm outta here but only after saying da oldest prayer, which was taught to me by my God-fearing father :" getaye hoy, tenagro kemyanagregnal merzam sew sewregn adera . Amen.!

Yes. TPLF will stand for the Freedom of any peoples

Weyannie,

I had my best tigrigna speaking friend translate the interview for me thorougly and she seem to agree with you.

As I was hearing this main point from her and now you, I couldn't help but ask ...

would Sebhat Nega stick his neck for other Ethiopian people at the same intensity as he is doing for Eritrea people? He says the Eritrea struggle for independence was both democratic and just because the people wanted it. He also contrasted Shaebia with OLF and ONLF and he explained Shaebia's success and OLF/ ONLF's failures reflects people's wishes.

My question is ... do you agree with Sebhat Nega the People of Eritrea wanted independence but the Oromo and Ogaden/ Somali people don't want independence?
