I wish all our neighbours, including Agames, were as joyous as we are
It is a tragedy that our neighbours are in such turmoil while we celebrate our independence. I wish the Agames could have their independence day. The poor [deleted] need something to show for the enormous sacrifices they have paid. To lose a million souls, have a huge chunk of your people limbless, and nothing to show for it is a human tragedy that must make all of us ache with sympathy.

I feel guilty about flaunting Eritrean joy like this when all our neighbours are being traumatized. Especially the Agames, who dreamed big to the point of hallucination of becoming giants only to end up dwarfs of the region.
