although the ground breaking and most popular tigrigna song that took over the airwaves in ethiopia during derg time was Anguey Fesis, my favorite is Megalwa, so original and one can never have enough of it. you just gotta play it over and over and over

Eden,
Misleading title. Would you please change Tigrigna to Agewrigna. It is not just semantics. It is substance.

Peace

Too bad Kiros Alemayoh was assassinated by Iyasu Berhe.

Iyasu also killed our best singer who told what is coming from Woyane when they reached Addis Ababa in his songs. His name is “SURAFEAL WELDEMICHAEL”. A must listen song, the most patriotic Tigrigna song ever made.
At link 2:02:04 all the way to the end of the program and click the black screen for the audio to hear. The song says:

“Alilalu Werqi Teshelimu Znaru Znaru Eski Alilalu”
“Alilala Werqi Teshelima Znara Znara Eski Alilala”

This song was dedicated to all fighters when they controlled Addis Ababa and the whole country.

USHsh...>>> Min Alshe..

I am glad you responded in Amharic. The Agewerigna is no Tigrigna.

Peace
