After 10 years of hopelessness of no peace no war situation between Isaias and Meles, In the recent few weeks there has been increased heat of war looming.
The Isaias regime refused any normalisation of relationship with the Meles regime, and was actively working to regime change in Ethiopia and destroy Meles's regime. But Isaias failed on his mission to end his enemy (Meles's) big time. You wouldn't believe how the Isaias regime was blindly belittled the Mele regime for the last 10 years. Every year of the last 10 years were promised as the last years of the Meles regime. 10 years ago Isaias told his follower that Meles is a dead man walking, last year the same thing Meles was skeleton man walking.
This year though is very different, because it has been proved on the ground who really the dead man walking skeleton is. And it aint Meles. All over sudden Meles ("the skeleton man")proved he was not al-along the dead man walking after all. He striking back twice or three times the real "skeleton man" (Isaias) in the real, old fashioned way of Fire & Action! Although the majority of Eritreans knew about the lies and decree of the Isaias regime, there were also who believed all the lies the Isaias regime was telling them, even them now are asking, how a dead man's regime can stick back!? And the regime they believed in as the ultimate has no response to when the sovereignty of the nation breached.
Some parts of Eritrea in the border with Ethiopia are now being administrated by the opposition, some villages are already trading by Ethiopian birr, as they can not obtain nakfa for obvious reasons.
What next?
Some are speculating on all out war between the two nation, but the probably of that happing is very slim, as Eritrea under a UN military arms embargo imposed sanctions. I don't think the UN will allow a country to be involved in full scale military war while during arms embargo suctions. UN most definitely will not allow Ethiopia to invade Eritrean and go for the final regime change under such situations.
But still Ethiopia can fight and defend itself, weakening the Isaias regime from a range without doing any major military action. Whichever way the Isaias regime is doomed military, materially and above all fully bankrupted morally.
Back in the day EPLF military use to its soldiers Sun Tzu's The Art of War. But Sawa soldiers are not thought the The Art of War, and that is for a reason. The reason is simply The Art of War enlightens a soldier, it makes him or her THINK and ultimately making the soldier better in many ways his opponents who expected to lie without any thought. To get a glims of what I'm saying you can watch the video below, or buy the book.
Sun Tzu's The Art of War is still very-much relevant to this day after it was first published 3000 years ago. To win a war you have to know about the art of war, the 5 factors. Otherwise you will never win a war.
Watch this modern interpenetration of Sun Tzu's The Art of War
So, as you probably learned of the art of war Morality is the biggest fact that a Commander has to face.
The Eritrean military is servilely demoralised, if your a soldier you must know clearly why you are laying your life down in the first place in-order to fight to win. If you don't know or the war is sensless you will not fight simple as that. Just talk ex Derg soldiers why they lost.
The Derg regime lost not because lack of materials like no weapons or food, they didn't lost because they were outnumbered, they didn't lost because they were less brave. They lost simply MORALITY, they didn't believe on the war they were fighting for!!
So who has the uper hand on the Art of War that is the question now, Isaias or Meles?!?! make your judgements based on the 5 factors of the art of war people!
