Is Meles dead? Probably not but if he dies still no big deal. He will be remembered as the smartest leader Ethiopia has ever had, someone who accomplished in 21yrs more than what was accomplished during the preceeding 90 years of dark Amhara rule. He will be remembered as the smartest African leader EVER. He will be credited for transforming Ethiopia into a middle income country and a modern Democracy. He will be celebrated for liberating the nations and nationalities of Ethiopia from barbaric Amhara rule and burrying the Amhara oppressive machinery soooo deep it can't be exhumed by no one. He will be thanked for creating a functioning system in Ethiopia where the nations and nationalities are empowered and the coward Amhara elite is kept in check.
The coward Amharas are celebrating the death of his holliness and wishing the death of genius Meles Zenawi hoping TPLF/EPRDF will be weakned as a result. Let me tell you this:
TPLF was declared dead by the enemies of Tigray when one of the legendary TPLF leaders Mussie died in a battle with the EDU.
The same was said when Suhul, founder and the first chairman of TPLF died of severe malaria during a trip to Sudan.
TPLF was declared dead when the Dergue-Amhara formed alliance with famine in 1977 EC to kill Tigrayans in the hundreds of thousands.
TPLF was declared dead when prominent leaders like Aregawi Berhe and Gidey Zeratsion were kicked out of the party.
TPLF was declared dead when Siye et al (12 TPLF CC members) splitted away from the party.
TPLF was supposed to be dead with the death of its legendary general and decorated war hero Hayelom Araya, the bravest man to have lived in planet earth.
TPLF was supposed to fall apart with the death of Ethiopian security cheif, the genius Kinfe Gebremedhin.
TPLF was supposed to be crippled with the retirment of Generals Tsadkan and Abebe Jobe.
TPLF has lost people like Amoraw and Qeshi gebru and 60,000 more.
But TPLF has always been stronger today than yesterday in its 38 years of existence. The source of TPLF's strength is not the above individuals, its strengh and invincibility has to do with its principles and the PEOPLE behind it.
TPLF created the above individuals, not the other way round.
So despite the wildest wet dreams of the coward Amhara, TPLF along with its allies will continue to rule Ethiopia until the backward country is transformed into a strong middle income country with a formidable middle class who can harbour and nurture democratic institutions and vote based on political inclination rather than ethnic affliation.
Long live TPLF and all its heroes, dead or alive
