Tadelech,

If this news is true then I believe Hailu Shawel, Berhanu and Birtukan among many senior officials have refused to sign the documents.

This is good news. The Woyannies may have to release some of the detainees but as long as Hailu and Birhanu are locked up in Kaliti there will be no relief from the intense pressure and the struggle we are waging.

I don't believe for a second that CUD leaders will ever resecue Zenawi from his sucide mission.

The detainnees should be released at any means, even by signing the statement if they are given a chance. Their being in the jail has no reason and nonsense. It neither help the TPLF change its position nor make the oppositions strong and cohesive. It only affects themselves, the families and loved ones. Being in a TPLF jail by itself doesn't bring anything to anyone except being a talk issus to the diaspora vocal politicians. Peacefull struggle is also a total failure. Therefore, have these people in their home and let think of other means out there whereby we can battle the TPLF thugs from power.
