For what ever worth it, I say good for the people of ethiopia if only they can benefit out of it.
But what is puzzling me is why did it take the TPLF junta over 20 years to find out what ethiopia can offer its people?
Come on now, would any one believe the TPLF junta could have went that road, if it was not of what it sees in the Eritrean mining industry potentials?
Don't get me wrong here now. Again I am very happy for the people of ethiopia. But it seems to me that the TPLF and its supporters still have the Eritrean mind set or I should say wanna be, which was put in their brains during their training in the Eritrean jungles by Isayas and friends.
The copy cat syndrome that is.
Eritreans went to the jungle they ([deleted]) follow.
Eritreans had cultural (music) groups in the field, they ([deleted]) follow.
Eritreans gather and dance on the special occassions of their success in the diaspora they ([deleted]) follow. Mind you they ([deleted]) are ethiopians. But I do not get it, why they act like the independent Eritreans. Why can't they do...their celebrations, gatherings, their musics and dances with their ethiopian brothers and sisters as ethiopians?
Eritrean cities and towns are endowed with natural Palm trees on their boulovards, the [deleted] planted Palm trees in mekele streets.
Now the Gold thing. The Gold was there already. God did not just put it in ethiopia's underground. It is priority thing. It is caring about your people's well being and prosperity. Purchasing 200 used tanks (even new ones), which are going to be rusting sitting idel or being taken away by their enemies if push comes to shove is not smart at all.
Finally let me repeat it again. I am happy for the ethiopians if they are going to share the wealth of the Gold. I mean if the money is going to be used like how it is being used in Eritrea. Like purchasing farm, infrustructure machineries, medical equipments which eventually ease the social services of the citizens. Getting out of begging and being self sufficient that is.
As an Eritrean I am very proud that my country is being an example on how to do things. Do not be shy about it. Praise it. It is all good. We the Eritreans will free the whole black continent sooner or later one nation at a time starting with ethiopia. But you need to take the evil thing on you, if you really want to succeed.
Man what is wrong with me? I mean extracting gold is not like painting a door. It takes a lot of engineering, negotiations with the mining industry companies, extended years to get it. Say....over 5 years if TPLF starts it now. But does TPLF have that much life span or is it saying so, to divert the attention of the ethiopian people? Time will tell.
