Hats off to Mr. Gebremedhin, it takes a real man/woman to stand for what he/she believes in and As an Adowan who spared the life of the rat at the helm, he could have been a rewarded with a minsterial or other posts. He chose not to do that I respect him for that even if he feared for his life because he knew too much.

In deed! And not a squeak from the TPLF agents on this forum or anywhere else. The story this man tells makes anyone sick of with realization of the fact that these are not human beings with typical empathy for another human being. They are devoid of any humanistic characteristics. One wonders how anyone becomes to be this way. Is it inborn or is it learned?

Rev.,
We all see TPLF is a criminal organization that slay its own citizens in a broad day light, cleanses indigenous populations and wholesale their lands for Indian investors, prints excessive BIRR to fund superfluous infrastructure projects, provides empty promises after one another, and so on and so forth.
My question to u is though what are u going to do about it? Or even better what exactly are u doing about it now? Bombarding negative news regarding TPLF on Ethiopian forum is not going to take u anywhere, and u know it. Whining and whingeing makes u look like crying baby. Unless u start to take real action, TPLF is set to rule Ethiopia for the coming century while ur son and grandson will still whine and whinge for generations to come on how harsh TPLF is punishing them for being nothing but Ethiopians.

In what capacity are you asking me this question? And what's your role here on this forum? An honest and candid answer will help a lot!

I am Eritrean and you are Ethiopian. I know you detest Isaias as much as the people of Oceania hate Emanuel Goldstein in Goerge Orwell’s “1984”. Whether ur hate upon Eritrea is initiated by “hate week” propagandas of Ethiopian rulers or justifiable is quite another issue. What matters at this very stage is you and I have the same adversary. We both believe, albeit for different reasons, there will be no change in Ethiopian policy unless the TPLF apartheid regime is detached from power. I believe Eritrea is doing something, under circumstances, to achieve its goal. While u like many other Ethiopians spent a significant amount of your fighting time by picking on the “evilness” of TPLF. That is already an open and shut case to the people of either side of the border. We have used to see a man carrying a donkey so often in TPLF led Ethiopia that anything they do will neither astonish us nor motivates us anymore to be against the regime.
In short, I am asking u within my capacity as an Eritrean who happen to have the same enemy as you do to do ur best in trying to remove the regime. Crying like a little girl will not get u anywhere. Let’s join hands and remove what we both think the sarcoma of Ethiopia and Eritrea. Any subsequent questions u might have regarding Assab or any other issue that involves Eritrea could be handled later. And I guarantee you, once u get to know Eritreans better in peace time, you will be surprised to see the sky is indeed the limit in the future cooperation of the people of both sisterly nations.

Wow! So when do I report to work? Really! Is there time card to be punched, uniform to be worn, contract to be signed? You have to describe your job offer a little bit better than that.

I must say that it's unfortunate that you don't see the irony in your desperate situation with the animosity you find yourselves in with TPLF. The same TPLF you fostered and raised in your quest to destroy Ethiopia. The very TPLF that's has become your worst enemy. There is a saying in Amharic which loosely translates to "the dog I raised bit me, the fire I set burned me!" You see how it perfectly fits your situation with TPLF.

This particular interviewee has set an alarm off in the EPLF old timers such as yourself. Another old EPLFite had objected to his first interview being posted and tried to discredit the guy. Why? because what he is telling shows clearly the hand you played in the cruel heartless crime TPLF committed and you would rather not anyone learn about it. Fortunately, you have no control over what we do.

Rev,
You have asked me for a candid response. I really did give u my sincere response, and then u make fun of it. Whoever brainwashed u to hate Eritrea this much deserves a trophy for he have done a marvelous job!!
You asserted the EPLF created TPLF to destroy Ethiopia. What is your evidence? Before the creation of TPLF, did the Eritrean struggle ever went beyond Eritrean borders? Were any civilians, even soldiers, harmed in any way beyond Eritrea? Even after the creation of TPLF, did the EPLF ever targeted non-military objects or persons outside Eritrean territory? Have ever any bomb even accidentally been exploded in Addis or any other Ethiopian cities? If EPLF had any intention and rationale to destroy Ethiopia it would have done it right after 1991 during which Eritrean tanks were continuously guarding Addis. Besides, there were tens of thousands of Eritrean living in Ethiopia who clould easily have done the job. Or it would surely have encouraged OLF and other secessionist to split from Ethiopia. The facts are quite the opposite. It was EPLF who convinced TPLF to change its secessionist manifesto. It was EPLF who turn against the secessionist agenda of OLF which ultimately resulted to removal of OLF from the Transitional Government in the early days after the Derg. You may not believe this. It is up to you. But again, I like you to give me just two reasons which makes you this convinced that EPLF objective was to destroy Ethiopia among other things.
Another thing, u portrayed my comment as a way to discredit the interview u’ve posted. Honestly, I did not listen to the interview. I did not even click at it. My comment was purely based on what u said in ur thread. I have neither the time nor the inclination to listen to a testimony of an ex-TPLF soldier. I have never interested in manually created history being written and re-written depending how the wind blows. Being Eritrean has taught me one important thing which I am not going to raise it now, for I do not have the slightest expectation whatsoever that you would understand.
Oh, by the way, that “old” stuff is non-sense. U could be my father for all I know. But it is non-issue and I leave it here.
