Hailemariam Desalegn: I was brainwashed by EPRDF

Postby Adamu » 10 Mar 2012, 08:31

The Woyane leaders lack skills to manage this country and build relationship with other nations in the Horn of Africa region. This gentleman said: I noticed that the EPRDF was handling the community fairly and democratically, so I didn’t worry too much about what would happen to me. I can say I was brainwashed by EPRDF.See the history in this link: http://www.dailyethiopia.com/index.php?aid=894

Capital: What was next for the returnee, most academics prefer to stay away from politics, why didn’t you?

Hailemariam: After I came back I rejoined the Arba Minch Water Technology Institute and served there for thirteen years in different positions, including as registrar, vice dean, and dean of the institute.

My political participation also started at that time. I was as young as a seven grader when the Derg regime swept all of the young people and academics out of the Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Party (EPRP). I was too young to join them but my father was a member of EPRP and I read some of the pamphlets he brought home. I used to hear him discuss with his friends about the setup of a popular government of the public’s choice.

I can say I was brainwashed by then, but I have always been interested to see justice prevail, which wasn’t the case during the Derg time. So when the EPRDF took control of the country, I wanted to work to see it realized. Yes you are right, academics were too scared to join politics after the Derg actions, but things changed for my generation.

Adamu -ante hodam banda- why don't you tell the truth? Do you know the different between EPRP and EPRDF?

Obamajr; ante Woyane qushasha member, you don't understand the English language which was written in the report. This is what Hailemariam said, and not me or you. From I realize now you are actual Tigray's good father (selay) in the SNNP region and also in this forum.

Adamu,

Why resorting to lie, if you have genuine cause to oppose the Government you can do so based the truth. When you lie to oppose the Government that means you do not have any justification to complain the ruling regime except deceiving your own mental state. The Government has too many holes or weakness to point out to the people of Ethiopia you do not need lie. “YEMATREBA WUSHETAM”. Ethiopia does not need WUSHETAM at this time it needs honest and strong nationalist leaders.

Obamajr and Halafi are one person with two names. Both are from Shabia with mixed of TPLF blade and agenda and WUSHETAMOCH. Definition of two sides of the same coin in the education system means nothing; two sides of the same coin phrase. What does two sides of the same coin expression mean for the Woyane system? There is no time and place for Woyane and Shabia regimes, and please take decision about your position in these systems! Please answer this and also read the things in the interview and don’t lead the members to the wrong direction of the way?

He said he was a seventh grader, not seven years old. A seven year old does not comprehend politics or read leaflets, he was a seventh grader and perhaps knows a little reading and not much. Seventh grader is about 13 or 14 years of age. The diffence between seven years of age and 13/14 years of age is HUGE, its more than a 100% number difference, its probably 1200%, if you include psychological and physical strength as well as mental maturity. I hope I did not offend you, I know you are too sensitive in the correction department.
