I cannot dismiss the arrest of Abebe Geresu as the act of some crazed colonel in the Eritrean military any more. If that is the case, it means that there is no central government in Eritrea. I'm terribly disappointed because I really believed that the Eritrean government wanted genuine relationship with Ethiopian opposition groups.
Elias, you should know that nothing is executed without the knowledge of Essayas. We all know that Shabia is the enemy. Shaba wants Ethiopia to be partitioned into pieces. That is why Shabia is arming and working for the liberation of Ogaden. Shabia hates to see a strong and United Ethiopia. Because, see what is going on now.. when Ethiopia is strong shabia gets weak and viceversa. From the get go you should never be duped by Shabia propaganda of 'united Ethiopia' . They wanted to [deleted] up oppositions money and resources. To me I see no difference between weyane and shabia. They are both created to destroy Ethiopia and they are doing what they wanted to do. The reason Ethiopia stay strong and united is not because of weyane.. its by the grace of God, we the people of Ethiopia are very adamant and God fearing people. WE have a promise that we will not fail, of course we will come strong and we will have a strong and God fearing leader soon. My only suggestion to you is break the silence and expose Shabia. You are like an insider, you know them, you went to Eritrea and met the so called president, but after all that promise he betrayed the oppositions and especially those pro Unity Ethiopians. You need to speak up for the two gentlemen who are suffering under shabia. Think about it, these individuals may expect that you and I would press the shabian regime to release them.. they are expecting that from you and I. You should come out and condemn shabia , trust me you can mobilize and convince many pro Unity Ethiopians, because I believe that you can still make a difference in our politics.
