Folks,

To understand what a truly opposition mean, you have to read what the Civic Society of Las Vegas has wrote about the aggression of chigaram Tigre against the state of Eritrea. It is posted in Meskeem.net. They were the first to condemn the aggression.

ANOTHER BAD NEWS FOR WOYANES

The Eritrean opposition groups that the woyane Eden tries to impersonate have strongly condemned the genocidal woyane's regime's recent terrorist attacks on Eritrea. They demand that the terrorist woyane regime withdraws its troops from Badme without any preconditions or face its inevitable doom.

No, you just don’t do that!

Normal nations don’t attack sovereign neighbour states crossing international borders and killing people like going for an excursion, no you just don’t do that.

The international community cannot sit there without taking actions against Ethiopia’s illegal and savage attacks on the sovereign state of Eritrea, no they just can’t do that.

The official statement from the US government is asking both sides to exercise restraint and avoid any further military action. The facts on the ground clearly show that, one side, Ethiopia is attacking with missiles while, the other side, Eritrea replies with peaceful means to the violation of its sovereignty;

    “It is those who do not know the price of war who are hungry to go to war,” Eritrean Information Minister Ali Abdu told AFP by telephone. ”We fought enough for 30 years, and we will never be dragged into war through such hostile provocations as this.”

The United Nations does what it has been doing for the past 62 years as can be seen by the following excerpt from Inner City Press;

General Ban Ki-moon’s spokesman Martin Nesirky on March 15 had no answer, saying, “let me check.” On March 16 he said that Ban urged “both sides” for “restraint.” One close observer noted to Inner City Press, “That’s just what the US said.”

At least the official press release of the UK Foreign Office states that the UK is deeply concerned about Ethiopia’s incursion into Eritrea.

    “I am deeply concerned about Ethiopia’s incursion into Eritrea on 15 March. Such action risks exacerbating tensions between the two countries and cuts across wider efforts to develop security and stability across the Horn of Africa. Conflict is in neither country’s interest. We urge both sides to adhere to the principles of international law and to avoid all actions that could create tensions and lead to an escalation in violence.”

More of an appropriate response to the events was given by the Italian government on Friday condemning the attack by Ethiopia on neighbouring Eritrea, and appealing to the two Horn of Africa nations to refrain from other violent acts against each other.

The statement read that the Foreign Ministry in Rome was following with “deep concern” news of the foray launched by Ethiopian troops into Eritrean territory.

It also states; “Ethiopia said on Thursday it sent troops 16 kilometres into Eritrean territory to attack camps run by “subversive groups.” Ethiopia often accuses Asmara of aiding rebel groups hostile to Addis Ababa.”

The statement also referred to the need for both countries to fully implement the Algiers Agreement to end a border war fought from 1998 to 2000 between Eritrea and Ethiopia – both of which are former Italian colonies. Their shared border is still poorly defined.

There were conflicting reports on Saturday that Ethiopian troops carried out more attacks inside Eritrea, just one day after Eritrea called for U.N. action against the intrusion into sovereign Eritrean territory by Ethiopia.

Ethiopia’s attack against Eritrean military posts inside Eritrea is a breach of international law as it invades a sovereign state and member of the UN that is not guilty of any external aggression.

The United Nation has the responsibility to take actions to stop Ethiopia from conducting further military actions against Eritrea and stop it from violating international law and treaties as it pleases.
