True, Sabe's contribution to the struggle outweighed his short coming, and his good deeds never did escape EPLF's eyes as well. I vividly remember listening EPLF through Radio Dimitsi Hafash/ voice of the masses in the late eighty, if my memory serves me right, remembering and airing its condolence to the family of Sabe.

The ELF was a feudal 'organization' with several power centers commanded by power crazed war lords. Sabe was a mercurial politician respected throughout the arab world and in the process made himself a multi-millionaire.
