Hardliner, I also heard General Abrehalei Kifle, was one of the most bruttal dergue high officials assassin in the 70's. He was not an Asmara born or raised and was not known by even a lot of Eritreans in Asmara when he was working undercvover. There is some truth in that. Ethiopians are showing our selffishness and along with that self-fishness our cowardice is coming out. We accuse others for our problems, I cannot believe 70 million people is unable to fight back and win over a 3 million people.

Yesat, you do not have to go that far. Just kill three to five high ranking officials with in a week or two, not in the interval of months or years. The dommino effect will follow from with in. They will start accusing and killing each other to save them selves from the inevitable.
And thus all it takes is, at least 10 courageous ethiopians who love their country, their people and their dignity more than, bullsh**ting in the net.
But they rather dream and wish leadership change of Eritrea which has nothing to do with what is going on in their country.

It looks like you lack the understanding of ethiopian recent history. to understand the current puzzle, just go some 35 years past and compare that with current one. In early 1970s, assasination, suicide etc was common in Addis and many ethiopian towns. The actors were ethiopians under EPRP. The Derg officials and their collaborators were gunned down by EPRP members in what is known as "White Terror" Dergs response to that was "Red Terror" in which any Educated ethiopian is either killed or tortured. Many young people were summarily executed on the streets so that it would be an example to people not to stand against Derg. When your own being, your neigboure commits such attrocities on you, you have no option but keep your life for another day. the habit of parents hiding their children, sending them to abroad etc started right there. EPRP went down to the drain of history that way with the loss of more than 50,000 ethiopians in urban warfare. You may not know that dark story, hence you made such remarks at every opportunity you get. In actuallity, The Derg's fate was sealed at that time. due to such brutality, the ethiopian people did not collaborate on the Dergs war effort. almost all of Dergs army was conscript in which many gave their hand to the then rebels, surrender or retreat. there is a cause for everything if you have some form of intellegence.

I personally disagree on urban warfare and uprisings. it leaves some trauma and make people seek better and quite life. Only the muslims who had the hope of luxurious life in heaven still fight urban warfare in which i don't see them making any big gains except being killed in droves.
