There are several homeless Americans and Africans in America. Homelessness is not an illness, it is a result of many things, illness being one of the many reasons. Family help and guidance is necessary to bring back people who are on the margins of society, but when one comes from a dysfanctional family, one finds it very hard to get back up and live like normal people. The main reason for a human being to be a failed human is when a child is born in a place where there is no guidance, having not so well informed parents.
This Ethiopian man is experiencing too much pain, you can tell he is doing everything he can to avoid from getting in deep into his conscienceness to produce the answers. I have seen many homeless Ethiopians and Eritreans, it can happen to anyone. I know people who have becomes homeless due to racism, everywhere they go they experience racism, and the combination of many limitations turn into a real hurdle for some people to overcome and end up being homeless or living off the grid like this man is living.

Many Ethiopians are leaving the country, so let alone a person that has lost all his connections to function, the ones that are in Ethiopia are leaving the counry in droves. The best way is to give him a place to sleep and eat and requires some sort of nurture so he can gather himself up and find that inner voice to help him recover.
