ListroJR,
I don't understand the point of this interview. If the question raised is, why is there a homeless Ethiopian in America ? The answer is simple, the answer is why not ? aren't there homeless Americans in America ? aren't there homeless Ethiopians in Ethiopia ? This is a stupid interview, if the point of the interview is to highlight the struggle of one Ethiopian man in America, while 99.9% of Ethiopians in Ethiopia are worse of than this homeless Ethiopian man in America; the interviewer doesn't understand his own and his country men's/women's priorities. There are many things Ethiopians should feel shame for before they become embarrassed about a homeless Ethiopian in America, we all know life for this homeless Ethiopian man in the US is much better than 99% of Ethiopians in Ethiopia.

There is nothing sadder than seeing a highly intelligent man fallen through the cracks of society. But at least his heart is in he right place and he's not without hope. It's a classic case of what Mark Twain described in his Book as “a sound heart and a deformed conscience come into collision and conscience suffers a defeat.”

Very sad indeed. I hope the community in the area he stays can scrape-up enough money for a one way ticket so that he can be rejoined with his family.

There are several homeless Americans and Africans in America. Homelessness is not an illness, it is a result of many things, illness being one of the many reasons. Family help and guidance is necessary to bring back people who are on the margins of society, but when one comes from a dysfanctional family, one finds it very hard to get back up and live like normal people. The main reason for a human being to be a failed human is when a child is born in a place where there is no guidance, having not so well informed parents.

This Ethiopian man is experiencing too much pain, you can tell he is doing everything he can to avoid from getting in deep into his conscienceness to produce the answers. I have seen many homeless Ethiopians and Eritreans, it can happen to anyone. I know people who have becomes homeless due to racism, everywhere they go they experience racism, and the combination of many limitations turn into a real hurdle for some people to overcome and end up being homeless or living off the grid like this man is living.

Yebanda suggested sending him home, what is he going to get at home, he is not a Tigryan as you can tell from his origin. Many Ethiopians are leaving the country, so let alone a person that has lost all his connections to function, the ones that are in Ethiopia are leaving the counry in droves. The best way is to give him a place to sleep and eat and requires some sort of nurture so he can gather himself up and find that inner voice to help him recover.

Ye Qit Nebelbal the worthless shabia pig,

we know that you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the guy said his wish is to go back to Ethiopia.

This is the worst interviewer i have ever seen. Instead of, trying to help this poor guy and ask the viewers to give a hand, he is asking him unnesessary questions, what a waste.
