Yakume wrote:All these things shows that, we Ethiopians and also neighbors have got wrong information about our leaders; their names and ethnics, and also contributions to the both national and regional development and nation building efforts. If Haile Selassie was like this, what about other leaders in the past and current regimes? All nations or local communities of the country and also neighbors in the region hate Haile Selassie and other leaders, and we must ask the reasons behind that. One reason is the bad behaviors of these leaders, and also their crimes and genocides against the local citizen or indigenous people of the country like Oromo and Gurage people, and also in the Eretria and Ogaden regions. This affected the relationship with the neighbor countries with Ethiopia.

the Tigray people with a leadership of Meles and his regime (TPLF or EPRDF) are doing and repeating the same mistakes by conducting new genocides in all regions of the country, and having organized bad relationship with Sudan, Somalia and Eretria people. Most of the countries in Horn of Africa region have bad relationship and misunderstanding with Ethiopian governments; both current and past governments. Therefore, are big role required by Ethiopians to correct the history, apologize about these crimes and genosides against the humanity, and build the image and relation of Ethiopia with the other people and countries in the Horn of Africa!

Yakume you hit the nail in its head. Bravo!!
If you are ethiopian, I salute you and I want to see more of your kinds and Obama Jr.

"Therefore, are big role required by Ethiopians to correct the history, apologize about these crimes and genosides against the humanity, and build the image and relation of Ethiopia with the other people and countries in the Horn of Africa"

Those are the keys for peace in the region on top of cleaning ethiopia's house for good.

Let’s ask our self the following question and get answers;
Is Haile Selassie from Oromo, Amhara or Gurage? Why he changed his name from Tafari Makonnen to Haile Selassie and by Somali Shekh? What was the relationship between Haile Selassie and this Somali Shekh?

Why Haile Selassie changed the local names of the towns to Jewish names? Why Meles changing the land ownership from local communities to foreigners "Indians and Arabs"? What is the relatoionship and commong thing between Haile Selassie and Meles Zenawi?

Selassie is the last Jah, he was Jamaican god. After smoking cannabis (sweet grass) Jamaicans see through him as a light smoke holographic image.

You should first ask your father and mother to apologize to the world for bringing up such a low life to the world even though they should not be guilty for they probably brought you up in the best way they could given the time, space, and other resources that were at their disposal.

In Ethiopia a man's tribe is according to his father, but no one knows who his father was, so no one knows his tribe.

Why he changed his name from Tafari Makonnen to Haile Selassie and by Somali Shekh? What was the relationship between Haile Selassie and this Somali Shekh?

This is a very interesting information, I have never heard of his involvement with this Somali Sheikh, it would be very helpful if could clarify this point. can you reveal the name of the Sheikh?

Why Haile Selassie changed the local names of the towns to Jewish names?

Is this to imply the Jews had influence on him?

Why Meles changing the land ownership from local communities to foreigners "Indians and Arabs"?

Here you are hinting Meles is doing this for a motivation other than money. what it is, I don't know. But your implications are disturbing, because you are emphasizing the "foreigner" part, the "Indian" and "Arab" parts are an afterthought. It is as if Woyane is setting some kind of precedent for the colonization of the country by foreigners. He began with the Gambella province, where there is the risk of least resistance, then he will probably move outwards to other provinces. it is possible the country is being sold to foreigners right under our noses, and there harly is any idea to counter it.

What is the relatoionship and commong thing between Haile Selassie and Meles Zenawi?

Could it be their British masters?

Ras Makonnen was the cousin of Emperor Menelik II and a direct descendent of Negus Sahle Selassie of Shoa from the Imperial bloodline of King Solomon. Ras Makonnen was Menelik’s closet confidant and it was widely believed that Makonnen would be heir to the throne until his untimely death in 1906. There is not much know about Tafari’s mother Woizero Yeshimebet Ali, daughter of a nobleman from Wollo. Her name suggest that she was possibly born a Muslim, she passed away 18 month’s after Tafari’s was born from complications during child birth. She had already experienced a couple stillbirths and her other children past away at a young age,Tafari was her only child to grew in to adulthood.

Much has been said about Haile Selassie, some Love him, while others don’t see any good in him. The Ones that Love Haile Selassie are people that believe Selassie I is Christ, YAH, or YAH’s chosen King and rightful ruler of Yisrael, someone to look at as source for Ispiration and have great Raspect for because of HAILE SELASSIE achievements, teachings and message of Inity and Peace. People that have less sympathy for Haile Selassie call him a dictator who let his own people starve, blaming His Majesty for going to war, or asking why He couldn’t do anything when Mussolini invaded Itiopia if He wás YAH or Christ. Looking for reasons why He is not Christ and deny His Majesties Divines because of possible expectations that accompanies Christ, possibly wanting him to do some magic tricks for them to believe in something.

Older people told us about his name and also father’s name. However, his name was changed from Tafari Makonnen to Haile Selassie by Somali Shekh, who was friend of Tafari Makonnen . Haile Selassie was good intermesh of building relationships with the community leadaers, like Afar, Sidama, Somali as well as Gambella and Oromiya communities. He used to have annual tour to all regions to collect the gibir “tax” from the rural areas “kefle-hager” and also to distribute some clothes and sugars and also grdaes “nickname, like fito-werari, barambras, etc) and other things to the community leaders in these areas.

Meles have plan A & B with two phases with three aims; “displacement of the indigenous people (i.e. Oromiya, Amhara, Gambella , Afar, Ogaden, SNNP and Banishangul-Gumuz), money factors, and build better relationships with outsiders”. Plan A and Phase 1 is to displace four communities, take their lands and get money with other factors. The four communities are Oromiya, Amhara, Gambella and Afar. Plan B and Phase 2 are same with Plan A and Phase 1 but with ore disaster elements and with three communities, Ogaden, SNNP and Banishangul-Gumuz.

The foraging investors are fighting to get these virgin lands from the indigenous people by government power and forces. However, the worst famine and droughts and also lack of basic services and facilities are in these area and these investments will not change the famine and hunger in these areas. For instance, the areas around Zuway, Arsi Nagelle and Hawassa have been attacked by these investors, but biggest numbers of the needy people are living in these areas, with lack of food security. So, the questions are; what these investors are doing in the area? Is there any problem to invest in the food security, health and education sectors? What is the role of the regional governments in these investments? Is there relationship between the investors and local communities in the investment areas? What is need for displacing big number of civilians, taking their homelands and giving to the external investors without contribution to their livelihoods?
